Great result pity Celtic can`t take defeat on the chin always got to be because of the invisible agenda against them. Their letter of clarification has only succeeded in getting a player banned for the final they didn`t mention that their 2nd keeper should have had a penalty against him for taking a player clean out of the game.
CELTIC = ALWAYS CHEATED........NEVER DEFEATED

The decision to ban Meekings from the final is scandalous!!! I accept that the SFA can look at video and deem that the ref made a mistake in not awarding the penalty but unless a player is guilty of serious foul play that the ref missed, such as stamping, headbutting etc, then I can't see how they can ban him?? This sets a really dangerous precedent, where do you now draw the line with what can be reviewed after the game and what punishments can be handed out?? Stupid decision by the SFA once again!!!

Surely the decision to ban him is against the rules of the game. If the referee saw the incident and didn't act on it, then case closed.
Were Celtic after a replay? You can't do this. It's an absolute joke.
Oh it's the SFA! Of course they can. Rolleyes

It appears that after a rules shuffle there is a punishment for deliberately preventing a goal by the use of a hand or arm but who can say definitively Meekings meant to prevent a goal. His legal team have become involved so we might see some fireworks yet - unless the SFA bottle crashes like it usually does when dealing with the Old Firm.

Appeal panel found in Meekings favour: ref saw it and didn't act so no case to answer.

Dear Timmy

It was an honest mistake. They do happen.

Stop judging everyone by your own standards.
