4-4 in a game between one side chasing promotion to the premier league to not be the featured game is scandalous. They didn't even talk about it in detail. Just typical manish bhasin and leroy rosenior drivel for literally 30 seconds on the game. The football league show has always been a joke but that takes the cake. I'll stick to watching the extended highlights on skysports.com in future who actually seem to care a bit about covering our team.

town have put a whopping 8 and a half minutes of highlights on the town player, actual highlights too,

My opinion, the build up play for the 2 town goals scored from open play were top notch , the Pass from Coady to Gobern was brilliant as was wells pass to scannell .

the Derby goals look to be mainly individual attemps by ince and benefits from lucky bounces for the others , watching the build up play fro the 2 non ince goals i found myself thinking , on any other day that ball bounces the other way and you dont get a chance. but that football sometimes

it shows the wells non goal and he was a half yard offside , the argument can be made the that Derby players b y blocking the shot were attempting to play the ball but it is an unconvincing argument
doesnt show the other non goal inceidents though

Criminal defending from Town on Saturday, goals 1 & 4 for Derby were absolute gifts from Towns poor control. Defenders are a must when it comes to the summer transfer window

Well if that match didn't make 'em 'appy in Albania, boggle eyed in Bulgaria, complimentary in Kosovo, nodding with approval in Norway and get them celebrating with a cold one in Serbia - I don't know what will. Thumb up

Take it you don't want any of Derby's defenders either Wakey? Rolleyes

Think defending from both teams was criminal if truth be known, Derby's 4th was particularly bad, why did no one make a tackle? Not really impressed with Smithies either, the first one us a pile driver but its straight at him, the first equalizer, Derby's 3rd, he just seem to scuff it, no power and its if the bottom corner with Smithies floundering.

I prefer to think it was brilliant attacking play from both sides.
Goal 1: Ince is given half a yard of space and unleashes an unstoppable shot that no keeper would've saved.
Goal 2: A brilliant through ball by Coady to Gobern who had sneaked into the box unnoticed, chested the ball down superbly and fired home giving the keeper no chance.
Goal 3: A fantastic corner, just after the previous one, almost as good had been headed behind. Hudson this time got above his marker and nodded the ball down, textbook style, into the corner of the net.
Goal 4: Wow! This lad really does take a good corner. This one's gone straight in. Did he mean it? Who cares? Brilliant.
Goal 5: A dangerous cross from the left met well by the lad sneaking in past his marker and wrong footing Smithies.
Goal 6: Derby got a lucky break of the ball but the lad struck the ball well, so well it was just out of the reach of Smithies at full stretch. Six inches either way it would have been tipped around the corner or hit the post.
Goal 7: More fantastic passing from the Town lads. Scannell gets in behind the defence and his pass back into the danger zone leaves Derby's defence flat footed and desperately trying to clear when Nahki's shot loops up via a deflection over the keeper.
Goal 8: Another good break away from Derby, leaving Town's defence back tracking and again another shot with pin point accuracy that no keeper would get to.

From my view almost level with the corner James corner was nodded in by I think Shotton over their keeper, deffo own goal and the lad said as much on the radio interview after.

A superb game, at HT we all said we needed to score next to win otherwise it would be the kitchen sink and the alamo combined to keep them out. Wells very nearly did score to make it 4-1 but at 3-3 I was fearing the worst, then they bring on Russell.

Great point on reflection and could with a wee bit of luck been 3, think Deano has since that Fulham game been doing the Upper Hopton rain dance to save our season, improve s/ticket sales ever so slightly and sprinkle a bit of momentum into our finish and the summer.

Pity Blackpool cant give us the other side of the temporary stand another 1500 /1800 paying £20+ would have been welcome to Oyston I presume, maybe the plod squad kyboshed it?

Oyston doesn't need the money though, Sloppy. I think that's the problem the fans have. Blackpool have pots of cash but he won't spend it.
