Sad news on Astle day that Ray Treacy has passed away.
RIP Ray.
THE Club was saddened to hear of the passing of Ray Treacy last night, aged 68, following a short illness.

I remember Johnny Giles bought him back (from Charlton) when we got back in 76, and he couldn't stop scoring. He played alongside him in the Eire team, and it was good to have him back at the Club.

I knew one of Paddy's former Charlton teammates, and he was delighted to see him back in the top Division. Nice bloke as well.
