He does actually say what the tune is above each one.

Also, the rest of "Ay, ay-ay-ay; Astle is better than Pele. Bobby Hope is better than Eusebio, and Albion are on the telly!"

Taking 'the telly' bit on, hopefully MOTD will do both Jeff and the Astle Foundation justice and give them good coverage.

And the game too......if we win  Confused Blush

I know The Liquidator came along in 69 but it would be fantastic to hear that one booming out again too - a real tune of it's era  Thumb up Thumb up

Camptown Races ("The Brummie Road will sing this song, Astle is the King") is still used regularly for other songs, i.e. "who put the ball in the Dingles' net, Super Kevin Phillips".

All You Need Is Love is a song by a band called The Beatles; they're an obscure bunch, but at a push, the internet might help you out there Smile

The only stumbling block is Si Si Senora, as it's not used at football matches these days and I can't find any versions on YouTube to illustrate. They did sing it once on Fantasy Football League though, so I'll try and track that sketch down.

Unfortunately it looks like the Eusebio sketch has been taken off YouTube, so no luck with "Astle is better than Pele". But while I was searching I did come across the sketch where they recreated Astle's notorious goal against Leeds in Jeff's back garden, so enjoy, folks!

You might recognise these words to an old Spanish hymn:-

I like the whisky - it make me feel frisky*
But oh-OH the Vino
Oh, the Vino
It give me a staaaaand
Su....premo

Ay-Ay-Ay-Ay
Si Si Senora.
My sister Belinda, she pissed out the window,
And ruined my brand new sombrero.

*Next verse: I like the Brandy - it make me feel randy

Was it just folklore, or did Jeff once head the crossbar?!!
I know it sounds unlikely but I remember hearing that he did but have never been able to confirm it.

Any idea, anyone??
