Yeah, I'd say on balance we're more likely to get something from Newcastle (who've only won two matches in 2015) than Palace who are on an absolute roll. I still think another draw or two would be enough to see us across the line, but obviously we want the win on Saturday to really make sure. Just hope the team rises to the occasion and doesn't get the jitters.

I think the team on Saturday will go one of 2 ways:
1) Be unfocused on the game and get turned over by a VERY focused Leicester
2) The opposite - be inspired by the occasion and have energy aplenty, resulting in a good win.
Tricky, but let's make the occasion a good one regardless

A team talk shouldn't be required on Saturday just a video montage of Astle clips/interviews should get the players going even the foreign players who know little about how much of a legend Astle is at West Brom, A great man i know the fans will do him and his family proud i just hope the players do

We will surely win at Newcastle, they're the easiest game left.

They owe us after the debacle of last weekend, more importantly they owe the memory of Jeff. A player in a time when wages were more in line with those of the people paying to watch, a man of the people in every sense.

Can't be at the game fellas but, will be with you in spirit.
I intend to wear my 1968 Cup Final Replica shirt on the day as my personal tribute to the King.
Some days I'm top dog, most days I'm just the lamp post.

I'm hoping the fans will sing the authentic 60s songs before the game. The ones we sang for him back then were:-
(tune of Ay-ay-ay-ay Si Si Senora):
"Ay ay ay ay
Astle is better than Pele"
(tune of Camptown Races):
"The Brummie Road* will sing this song: Astle is our King
Astle is our King
Astle is our King
The Brummie Road will sing this song
Astle is our King"
* Substitute with The Smethwick End/ The East Stand Boys/ The Halfords Lane (depending where you're sitting!)
And the Astle family would love it if we sang:-
(to the tune of the "Love, Love, Love" bit in "All you Need is Love"):-
"Jeff As-tle
clap clap-clap-clap-clap"
(This was sung non-stop at the celebrations on Hyde Park Corner in May '68.)
What memories!

To the tune of what? For all of those.
