What did Mulumbu do? I couldn't tell.

Mulumbu walloped Barton in the face as they went up for a header. For the record, Barton's said he doesn't think it was intentional and should have been a yellow.

Got home at last. Still seething at that pathetic performance.
Anichebe was the only solid performer on the pitch! Berahino and Ideye have no strength and get pushed off the ball to easy. Berahino needs to run onto the ball and seems uncomfortable to use his head (I'd snap up £20m for him quickly). No-one had a real shot on goal, just a few very weak attempts. Bring on the summer and change

Thank you Ska'd.
It was nice to see Anichebe score live for the second time ever (the other was for everton at the hawthorns on new years day/eve a few years ago, a sunday tv game that Andy Gray once said was the worst he'd ever been to and he left early, we lost 1-0) and he did well generally and gave us an option from all the long balls, Berahino off Vic next week please.

A 'RUDE awakening' was how Tony Pulis described today's 4-1 defeat to Queens Park Rangers.
The Albion head coach claimed his side paid the price for a poor first half in which they conceded three times. Pulis was unimpressed with how the game unfolded. "We powder-puffed our way through 45 minutes of Premier League football, which you can't do. "Brownie (Ideye) missed a good chance before they score. "We should have dealt better with their first goal. The second goal was from a set play. Zamora scored a great third goal and the fourth goal shouldn't have scored because Charlie Austin tripped Gareth McAuley. That was a poor decision by the referee. "There are a lot of things that go through footballers' minds. Getting to 33 points...people read social networks, social media and listen to the press who say they're safe. The one thing for sure is that if you're not on it 100 per cent you will get a rude awakening. And we that's exactly what happened. "The players have to be full out. And we weren't, especially in the first half." Victor Anichebe scored Albion's only goal during a much-improved second half. But Albion never recovered from Youssouf Mulumbu's dismissal - he was shown a straight red card for raising his arm as he challenged Joey Barton. Pulis continued: "We created more chances after the break. We scored one goal but should have scored two or three more and that's happened a few times now. "As for Youssouf, his hand is up. He's jumped for the ball and Barton has gone into his arm. The referee will say he shouldn't have his arm up there." Read more at http://www.wba.co.uk/news/article/west-b...30vPj5w.99

I can't see us getting a point ever again in the premier league, this is the worst team and manager we've ever had. Sell all the players and the ground, the w

Baggietrousers you have my sympathy, and let your little one keep thinking we won 4-1
![]() The only bright spot for me was Anichebe. IF and it's a massive if, he could stay fit we would have a quality player. I don't think there's a centre half who can handle him with his back to goal, he holds the ball up superbly and lays it off a treat. I know he'll probably do his groin 10 minutes into his next game as he's done in the past, but when he's fit he's unplayable.

It's quite annoying when he turns then has his shot blocked though.

Dreadful. First half hoofball without the forwards to play that way, second half hoofball with the right forwards. I did though have a smile at Pulis complaining at QPR's time wasting cos we'd never do that would we?
