QPR Match Thread
#1
Firstly - this is just a conversation thread to fill in the time between now and our next game, so -Ska'd/Stairs - if you want to merge it with the forthcoming match thread then please do.

As its a little while to go, I thought it'd be interesting to see how we all think TP will view, and line up for, this MUST WIN game.....or actually it's more like a 'mustn't lose' one. Or is it?!
With QPR currently 11 points behind us, even a draw would suit us a trillion times more than them, but should we show more ambition than that and go for the jugular?

IMO we darn well should!!

Any thoughts - presuming all bar Dawson are available? Surely this is just the right time for Gamboa to be unleashed?

"Go for the jugular"!!! Anyone who says differently was probably a fan of Geoffrey Boycott.

..........(I expect TP will be saying this, as he has a different approach at home games).

You have to boost the players' confidence, so don't set them up to be cautious - tell them they're streets better than QPR.
I'm confident that Gareth (Craig's look-alike) can keep Charlie shackled.

Being 2-0 up away at QPR and losing has to be the most disappointing performance of the season.
Was drinking with a QPR fan on Sunday who accepts that they will be in the championship next season so 2-0 to the Baggies.

Right, I have bought my ticket and will be in the Vine at about 12 noon for a few pints and a curry.

Who will be the first person on here that I will meet?

Mmmmm. Friends of mine are saying this game could be a turkey shoot (in Albion's favour). Oh I wish that was true, but I fear it will be a hard points earned

Does it still get packed in the Vine on a matchday? i presume it does. My pre match routine now is always the train into Brum get there about 09:45 a spot of breakfast then the day commences i've become friendly with a group of Bluenoses so always meet up with them when we both play on Saturday

Sadly been a while since I have been there but I also assume it will be. Will get up there early, park the car close to the ground and then walk to the Vine for a nostalgic beer and lunch.

I can't be there, Stairs, but good luck meeting a fellow 606er.
