The teams down the bottom have to score at least half as many points in 9 games as they've got in 29 so far.
My head says we're safe. Heart, nerves and bowels, not quite sure.

Great win, thoroughly deserved, and we're now in drawing distance of safety. There's a fair chance that 33 may be enough this season anyway, even allowing for the surprise wins the bottom teams usually pick up in April and May. Finally, the curse lifted! Just wish we could have done this in one of the games last week...

Just got back, well deserved win. Won 6 out of 7 home games.
I could get used to this.
Oh and the Stoke hoodoo is no more.
️Boing boing - enjoy your weekend all and pour yourself a beer.

With Burnley beating Man City tonight it shows we can't relax totally yet

Burnley may have injected a bit of life into the dogfight, but for us to be relegated, five of the seven teams below would have to leapfrog us. We'd pretty much have to lose every remaining game for that to happen. And if it did, we'd deserve whatever we got.

Just a matter of getting across the finish line, and we're easily capable of that.

Good all round performance today. I thought Mozza had his best game for a long time and was our star man. His second half run beating three Sjokies deserved more than just a corner.

Sess was excellent and Saido really put in a shift as did Gardner. Ideye showed some good touches but needs to toughen up as for his size, is easily muscled off the ball.  Only real downside was again Brunt. I just don't get it with him. How he stays in the team with such mediocre performances and poor corners/crosses is beyond me.

Foster didn't really have anything to do but again, his kicking was poor. Centre backs were solid as was Daws at right back.

With Burnley winning (what a result for them) leaves us still eight points above the drop line so I echo Ska'ds comment - its not over yet. We might get a backlash from Citeh but wouldn't in all honesty expect anything there anyway.

It was a good win today and every man played his part in it. Give Brunt a break, mate, it gets boring to hear the same comment.

Baggy Bomber.... I'd be delighted to give Brunt a break if he stopped playing so fecking badly! He is the one consistent weak link in the team and until he starts performing, he's not going to get a break and boring or not, it's not just me who shares that opinion.

Well TP seems content to see him in the team and I tend to rely more on his opinion (and mine) than yours.

Baggy bomber,
Like last season Brunty deserves all the credit in the world for playing out of position because the team needs him to.
However, whilst you know he doesn't have the pace and can't expect him to tackle like a recognised defender what is going on with his crossing and corners- they have been woeful for weeks !!!
Sorry but Poco must have fallen out with TP not to get picked.
Credit to Dawson who again played well(apart from the slip which gave everybody a heart attack) as he is also out of position.
New LB in the summer please. And a right back both with some pace.

Had it on good advice that TP doesn't rate Poco,Gamboa or Davidson defensively so Brunt & Dawson will remain unless injured so I guess we just need to get used to it as you say. As long as we keep winning I'm happy, just hope now we are nearing the safety point we play a bit more attacking away from home ? As you know I'm a huge fan of the manager of the month/year and delighted he has saved us from the drop.
