I know that you can't appeal a red card given for two yellows but that second Yacob booking was absolutely ridiculous.
It was more of a 'soft shoe shuffle' than a tackle. I rarely agree with Mark Lawrenson but, even he said 'if that's a booking you might as well ban tackling.'
Some days I'm top dog, most days I'm just the lamp post.
Sess, Mulumbu, Pocognoli and Gamboa should be starting every game. In fact anyone that can run should automatically have a spot in our defence or midfield.

Yacob's card has to be rescinded - Agbonthewhore actually kicked Yacob when sliding in. Not that it made any difference though.
So no chance of appealing then

As said elsewhere, get those last couple of league wins and rebuild in the summer, with these last two matches as a blueprint for exactly what's wrong with the current team.

Strangely, I don't feel as depressed as I did when we lost to them in the league. Today has just confirmed to me that we are a very poor PL team with a manager that guarantees survival but away from home sucks the enjoyment out of watching us.
Give him some money to spend in the summer and probably the Berahino sale fee and see what he can do with his own team next season, this season has been a write-off since the idiots appointed Irvine.

Well that ends a bad week for the club. The team now needs to pick themselves up and start again. Tony also needs to reduce the amount of square pegs in round holes that are being used.
On a final note, the Villa fans celebrating like they have won the league is so cringeworthy and pathetic.
