Ridiculous decision to sack Grant. We were never this bad with him here. That free kick towards the end showed what a slap dash approach this new set up has.

We had the most goals scored from set pieces when Grant and his team were here. We look absolutely clueless now.

We were clueless at the back and clueless against the top 3rd of the division under Grant. Apart from that we'd have finished 9th anyway.

This season's going the same way as last season.

So much as I don't like us fannying about at the back, it's much better than Manning's tactics. Just lumping the ball forward to a diminutive lone striker is just madness. And I know Charles did have a poor game last night, but if we'd had Harry Kane up front in the last two games he wouldn't have had a sniff either. And fans were booing him during the match by the sound of things. Pathetic support.

Last week in the trophy, our "reserve" team made the Donny keeper look like prime Gordon Banks. Since then, our opponents have not needed a goalkeeper.

It's another game where we've failed to lay a glove on the opposition. We've changed formation since losing may and bojan and it's not working.

Saying that, sticking with the same formation with Charles and Wales upfront would be playing with 9 men anyway, they seem to be in competition as to who's going to be most useless

2 games on the trot that we’ve failed to get a shot on target, it’s simply not good enough.

Where has the pride and passion gone from the Bradford and Luton games. We had 10 men in each of those games and went forwards more than we have in the last 2 games. I know Bojan is a big loss for us up top but even a blind man can see Dion Charles up front on his own isn’t working. He needs someone near him, we have no one near him.

A silly free kick cost us at the weekend and an even sillier penalty cost us again tonight. £1million for Mumba, the lad looks all over the shot. For Barnsley on Saturday Manning has to set us up in a different way.

Our recruitment has been particularly poor especially on the loan front other than Castledine.

I’ve seen nothing yet that makes Humphries stand out, Redman was injured, Goodman was useless, Alves started ok, got injured can’t get his form back in a struggling team. Wales looks lost and Hardie came with a pass for the medical room and why on earth did we get rid of Kane when we knew McGuane was made of glass.

And Kane went off injured after 22 minutes last night.
