A draw with a clean sheet. I will settle for that. More of the same needed. Solid at the back gives us something to build on.

Second half was pretty much as I predicted in my half time comment. I didn't think we looked like scoring at half time and it didn't get any better in the second half.

Obviously after what we've served up recently, it was good to see us compete and not get hammered.

However, I really struggled with our lack of urgency to win the game...

Last 10 minutes and we seemed content with stroll about, playing safe square and backwards passes...

We didn't get the number of bodies forward that we need to cause them a threat. Stoke defend well, so you need the flood their box. We barely committed anyone forward.

Now don't get me wrong, I appreciate a point is better than nothing and it gets us out of the zone.

But given our away form, where I think we lose every game, I can't see us staying up with draws at home.

I'm glad Ramsay reverted to 4 at the back. I'm glad he reinstated Mowatt.

For me this was obvious stuff. But credit to him for changing it and not continuing to be stubborn.

We looked better, but we were still extremely negative overall.

We've got to play Oxford and Blackburn away. If we lose those games, which we probably will, we need to win home games. I'm not sure we get enough points at home playing like this.

I don't remember us creating anything at all really, which is very rare at home. Yes it was an improvement on the Norwich and Portsmouth games, but I'm struggling to be positive about us being that negative at home.

With tonight's team selection I've almost given up with Ramsay.
Gilchrist Motm last game dropped.
MJ on the bench. Taylor playing CH.
I just cannot understand Ramsay's thinking. I can see us letting a handful of goals in again.

WTF is this obsession with Price!!!
How is he starting again and Johnston is on the bench.

I can only assume that MJ is not fully fit. Either that or Ramsay has completely lost it. Could be the latter of course

Whow..... sounds like a vastly improved performance.... 0-0 on 89 mins....

Hang on in there!!

.... close then - Brum goal disallowed on 97 mins!
But what a great point and apparently a very good performance!

My jury is still out on Ramsay, despite us getting an away point and keeping a clean sheet (just)
Taylor had a good game at CH which was pleasing. Nobody else stood out but it was a hard fought battling performance by the lads tonight.
Why MJ is in the bench and our kids don't get on the pitch are major disappointments.
On to the next we need a win to help the cause now.

Well you can’t say they weren’t fighting for the shirt tonight. What a difference having a goalie makes. Not a fan of Taylor but credit where it’s due, he did well today. Still some silly mistakes, Styles with a couple that could’ve been very costly, Diakite with a dreadful back pass, and I still don’t see what Price is offering.
But, I’m not leaving this post on a negative, that was the fight we need, the formation we need, and the luck we need.

The rot has been stopped it seems, and we move 2 points clear of Blackburn, but they have a game in hand.

It should have happened much sooner, but it seems Ramsay has seen the light now.

Another solid result in the circumstances and we certainly fought hard for it, but bloody hell, we owe the ref a pint or three as well.
