Reading winger Andre Garcia has joined Belgian side Club Brugge for an undisclosed fee.

The 18-year-old academy graduate had been at the club for more than a decade and made his debut at the beginning of last season.

He went on to make 56 appearances for Reading, scoring two goals.

He is the latest Royals academy player to make a move to Europe, following the likes of Michael Olise, Danny Namaso Loader and Nelson Abbey.

Reading have signed Aston Villa winger Kadan Young on a loan deal through until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old is a product of Villa's academy and last year went on loan to Belgian Pro League side Royal Antwerp, where he played seven times.

Young has already played three times for the Villa first team and registered an assist in their 3-2 victory over Red Bull Salzburg in the Europa League last week.

"Kadan is an exciting young wide-player who gives us added depth and real pace in the wide areas," Royals boss Leam Richardson told the club website., external

"He's someone with excellent character, a strong work ethic, and plenty of potential, and we're looking forward to working with him during his time with us."
