League Two club Tranmere Rovers have signed forward Taylan Harris from Luton Town on a loan deal until January.

The 19-year-old came through Reading's academy and went on to make his senior debut in 2023 when he scored in their 9-0 EFL Trophy win over Exeter City.

He joined the Hatters in January 2024 but is yet to make a full senior appearance for the club.

"I'm really excited to be here - it's a brilliant opportunity at a big club, and I can't wait to get started," Harris told Tranmere's website., external

"The conversations I've had with the manager [Andy Crosby] have been positive, and I just want to get started now and make an impact."

ranmere Rovers have signed striker Joe Ironside from Doncaster Rovers on a three-year deal until June 2028 as well as Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Jack Barrett on loan until January.

Ironside, 31, who began his career at Sheffield United, joins for an undisclosed fee.

He helped Doncaster win promotion from League Two last season and scored 24 goals in 84 appearances for the club.

Barrett, 23, came through Everton's youth setup and has been with Blackburn since the summer of 2024.

"I'm delighted to get it over the line. Now that everything's done, I couldn't be happier, and I can't wait to get to Prenton Park and show everyone what I can do," he said.

"And I think the club is only pushing in one direction, and I want to be a part of that."

Tranmere Rovers have signed Walsall midfielder Lewis Warrington on a two-and-a-half-year deal and Leyton Orient midfielder Zech Obiero, Mansfield forward Max Dickov and Oxford defender Stephan Negru on loans until the end of the season.

Former Everton man Warrington, 23, played 20 games for the Saddlers after joining them on a two-year deal last summer.

Obiero, 21, played alongside Warrington at Orient last season and made eight appearances for the O's this campaign.

Dickov, 23, who is the son of former Scotland international Paul, has scored once in 19 appearances for the Stags, while Negru, also 23, made 10 appearances for Bristol Rovers during a loan in the first half of the season.
