Good lord, what on earth have we employed as a "coach"?

I've done some moaning over the years. As far as football goes, I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I expect players to be able to pass and move, tackle, follow their man, make good decisions.

But good lord, I don't remember seeing anything as bad as this...

It's like watching Sunday league. I can't remember us stringing move together. Eric Ramsay makes Ryan Mason look like Sir Alex.

The formation is wrong. The personnel is wrong. We can't play. Nobody is marking up. There is no effort.

I don't know who is playing where.

Heggebo is so isolated he needs a carrier pigeon to pass a message on to his nearest man.

This brainless clown of a manager just needs to pick 4 at the back and give us a few bodies further forwards. It's not rocket science.

What is the point in Ousmane Diakite? I've watched him 20-30 times now and he can't do anything. His passes come in at knee height. He can't run. He doesn't mark up on the edge of the box. How on earth can you start him and have Alex Mowatt on the bench? Yes Mowatt has his restrictions, but at least he can control the ball.

Unless we perform a miracle and turn things around second half, Ramsay needs to go. If not, we'll get exactly what we deserve. Relegation is a foregone conclusion under this guy, I can see it already.

We need to get someone like Big Sam in now just to keep us up. Someone who understands the basics of the game, like you need to actually cross the halfway line to score a goal.

Never thought i'd get to say this, but I think we have found one even worse than Pardew.

I hope I'm wrong, but I think if the board fail to take immediate action then we're down. Would be nice if Andrew Nestor went with him too.

I do understand your point, but I would take our current owners over Lai every time and I don't know anyone who wouldn't. Bottom line is Lai left us in a position where we can not invest even if we wanted to, so we have to take what we can get. I would rather be a laughing stock of a football club, than one which no longer exists.

Salop, I agree, I prefer our new owners, we were left in a deep financial hole, slowly climbing out but the football is suffering right now. We have tried the old dinosaurs, big Sam, Pulis, Bruce, pardew, they all failed, we are trying young blood managers but with limited money and a poor playing squad we are struggling. We need lady luck but she has deserted us. Injuries galour and not enough square holes apparently.

Real risk of relegation unless the manager and players get their act together.
New owners are far better than Lai and the future for the club is better in the long term.

Yup, I agree with the last few posts regarding the owners; I think they are honestly doing what they can with one hand tied behind their back and the other hand with all the fingers broken.
It IS Lai and the others of that ownership that have done this to our club.
There MAY have been mistakes by the present owners - and there will no doubt be more - but I honestly feel that they, in turn, are doing their honest best. As is mentioned above, it may mean going down another level (heaven forbid) before we are truly stabilised and in a position to 'rise from the ashes' again, and I think that, realistically, it's 50/50 at the moment.
It's hard, but I know we'll keep our support going

There’s a lot of psychology in football (as in life), and I was brought up on the ‘you never kick a man when he’s down’ theory, and like everyone, I’m disappointed beyond believe at our situation,. But now, as hard as it is, we need to get behind the team and help pull them out of the mire in the hope we can turn a corner before it’s too late.

It's not a matter of our new owners are better then the previous ones. I cannot appreciate any owners who make the club worse. I never like baldy but he would never have let the squad be managed by rookies. He would not have sold players for less then their true value, nor would he have overpaid for players. Our new owners have done us no flavours as far as I'm concerned.
If they had paid our debts off fair enough. But they haven't. They basically got given the club and we were led to believe they would put us on a solid footing and be financially safe. Nowhere did they say we were going to get below par players and managers and get relegated.
Where's the investment in the ground and infrastructure. What's happened to changing the old faces in the background. What's happened to giving our youngsters a chance.
IMHO what owners have done a worse job of running a club. Maybe the Dingles Bahrti brothers did a similar job of destroying a football club.
If your a multimillionaire there are no excuses for everything going wrong at the same time.
The excuses must run out sooner or later. Anyone saying we need to be relegated to rebuild are just demented.

We have a different view on this BB!
Mine is that our present owners had no choice but to balance the books to meet financial regulations, or face further sanctions. To do this they HAD to sell our arguably better players, who were on the highest wages - even, as you say, for below their actual value - and bring in replacements who were mostly unproven at this level, but on lower wages.
