The whole situation was handled poorly, with zero clarity or transparency. Almost as if it were intentionally kept a secret.
The last things fans needed at the moment was further deception and secrecy.
Its blow after blow and we haven't even been relegated yet.

Barry's walking on a free too, so what's the real story? We're jot receiving a fee and his 7k wages are less than players such as Ugbo who is stealing a living. Why arent we offering him to some shitty Turkish side? They love buying shit.

Regards to Ingelsson I believe Pompey had an initial bid turned down and its unclear whether they came back with an improved offer.

Quite frankly anything less than 1m for a Championship player in the current climate is an insult and I hope we told Pompey to fk right off.
Sick of these vultures trying to pull a Man Citeh

I have a feeling this move has been engineered by Bannan or his agent. I think he has simply had enough and when DC got him to sign for 7k last summer there were promises made that the administrators cannot keep now we are in admin. The club couldn't give any clarity on this as they hadn't had any approach from Millwall, the approach was in the opposite direction. Don't blame Bannan for him, he has served us well and deserves a decent contract to see out his career.

I don't think any of the real fans blame Bannan. I certainly dont. I just don't like the way in which the situation was handled.
He did indeed take the pay cut based on promises of a future which cannot be kept. His work rate and vision on the pitch will be sorely missed. There's a reason why he has the most created chances in the top 4 tiers.

I expected we'd be parting with Bannan at the end of this campaign. The manner in which this happened feels like yet another blow to an already horrific season.
This team was bad enough to watch with Amass and Bannan helping them, now they're both gone. The pigs will be expecting a cricket score now, especially with HP's lack of sauce.

We really should contact one of those weird Turkish sides like Dogshitspor and offer them Slugbo. Get rid, immediately. Even if its on loan and hes off the wage bill.

He's also got a shot at having a well deserved finale in the EPL with Millwall Cool

He could well be the catalyst to them getting promoted. They're in a decent position in a shit league Thumb up

Can’t blame him for, at 36 , choosing 18 months of certainty and an increased wage. The wildest bit is him not picking a home game to leave but maybe the timing was outside his control or it would have been too emotional for him to do that.
Anyway we need to move on. And now hopefully we can find a new midfield for the 26/7 L1 season and one where more than one person can dictate things.

Im giving up this club would have been better dissolved than what we have had to go through this last season ...we all wanted Bannan gone 4 years ago and maybe if zipperhead had any brain cells whatsoever he would have pushed the button and maybe we would have not gone down and pushed on ? Now it's sad because Bannan was the only credible player left in the squad but we forget how everything was built around him pissing around with the ball and especially as captain !
He is a legend in his own right but the club basically sacrificed itself for him to become one ...
In the end I'm not sure what I think it's like 50/50 on the pitch with a big sway of the pitch give him a statue !
Not crying though as there are no more tears for this clown club after what we've had to go through this season !

Barry's loyalty cant be questioned. He stayed long after Carlos' dream team dissolved like a biscuit in your tea.
He could've spent a few seasons in the EPL, and chose not to. Now, that he's finally choosing himself and his family, he's getting shit from some fans as if he's abandoned us.
Poor Barry hasn't had anyone decent to play with in midfield since Reach and Fessi left.

Players like Iorfa and Ugbo are on 15k per week and have always been shite. Never once did it occur to them to take a pay cut or transfer away, in order to be less of a burden.
If anyone should be the focus of anger, its players like them.

I'm not sure we all wanted him gone. It was more about our one dimensional tactic of 'pass to Barry and see if he can do something'. Every other team had us sussed and that was the fault of DM and others. The fans and opposition could see it but our blinkered coaches couldn't and that's why some of us wanted him to go. To force us to have more than one tactic.

This is pretty much it. It also made the players around Barry lazy. If they couldn't see him for the pass, they immediately played it backwards towards the keeper.
It was to the point where the opposition forwards were actually anticipating the backpass, and still are Doh
