Why should a man go to work, if he has the health and strength to stay in bed?

Glad we have stopped the rot away from home.

That's a positive.

But on the evidence of the performance, I think we're down. The manager continues to have 3 centre halves in our own half on the 90+ minutes when we're losing 1-0. The changes are a joke.

He doesn't have a clue what he's doing. I can tell. My gut is the same as it was about Pardew.

I hope I'm proven wrong...

Good to see a centre half finally score but we looked totally impotent from open play. This formation is just setup for 0-0s. More negative than under Pulis.

Think we've employed a pig in a poke here.

When he made the subs we were shading it. Mikey was the only player who looked like creating and at least Heggs was linking play at times. Stiles didn’t really do anything wrong. After the subs Derby went on several attacks where we looked really vulnerable and another day might well have scored. Luckily they sat back at the end and we were able to get a set piece goal otherwise it was more heartache.

Molumby - I love his heart on the sleeve attitude but he is a liability.
Idling Junior - Haven’t got a clue why he stayed on the pitch and can’t really remember anything positive from him at all.
Price - He was a wonder first few games but now he looks to have no strength, easily knocked off the ball. Yes he was played out of position but still rot.

I think there are worse teams than us in the league and we shouldn’t go down but I do worry about Eric. Personally I think Mozza would have been a safer bet to the end of the season as he knows the players (and their limitations) much better. Eric seems to be playing at it without much of a clue. I hope I’m wrong.

Credit where it’s due, we got a draw in the last minute and at least fought for every ball, even though it was a scrappy match, which is a big improvement on Tuesday’s performance, and it certainly gave our (excellent) away fans something to feel better about. It’s all very different at the moment with all the changes going on and is not a pretty watch. However, we got a point, so I for one am grateful for small mercies.

A point well earned tonight, albeit a very poor Derby side. We will take a point at this stage. I'm getting concerned about ER he's not playing to our strengths and doesn't appear to be learning. His substitutes tonight were baffling and what's happened to our youngsters? Tha backroom staff are all intact. This can only end up one way. He's not going to change anything so we won't improve and he will be getting the sack.

Praise the Lord for no VAR in the championship. Not a corner, Mepham throwing the defender out of the way....
Happy to take it!

Not sure about the corner decision, but the defender dived across the front of Mepham and was already going to ground.
We have had so many bad decisions that have cost us points and wins, not one penalty yet, should have had at least one against Portsmouth and they should of had two red cards, so I don't feel guilty if for once it's gone in our favour.

Grateful for the point, and yes about time we got the rub of the green.
But, Derby were a poor team and a 1-1 scoreline doesn’t even come close to papering over the cracks (gaping holes).
I agree Ramsey is only three games in, but he has already shown he is NOT the man for the job and will inevitably steer us to league 1.
Baffling formation, baffling selections of square pegs into round holes, baffling substitutes, baffling tactics.
Nestor is not blameless by any means, in fact he is probably the biggest problem and the main reason why we are in such state. His selling / recruitment of players and managers is appalling.
So whilst those two are calling the shots there is no bright future. I really hope I’m just being ultra negative but somehow don’t think so. Pompey away next is a massive game, so a message to ER and in the words of Mike Bassett ‘four four f$&king two’.

Though the game was un-satisfactory, we at least got a 1pt, which is better than none. And it does mean the team didn't create a new record in our 145 year existence.

Goal keeper needs a few days to settle in.

We still need someone who can not shoot at the goal keeper. Its squeeky bum time with the teams below us having a game or two in hand.

Oh, and come on Walsall, don't slip up again.
