Rick Parry will make certain of that.

I tend to agree, either forfeit these remaining fixtures or make HP actually try something else with the kids if this request is refused.

This same sh*t every week is demoralising for everyone involved with the club.

Cooper out for four weeks too.. It's becoming a bit silly.

Without doubt the EFL will drag out the ownership approval beyond this months transfer window.

Surely we want the EFL to drag it out for two reasons:

1. We don't want another Chansiri, we want someone who is backed by proper money, not an owner who is connected to family money but actually has no access to it.
2. I would rather we not waste any money in the January window, give us the chance to get some loans or freebies in just to pad the squad so we can rest players but lets not spend any money.

We need the ownership to be done properly, then let them decide what they do with the manager and whoever they choose let them fully assess what we have and what the plan is for the summer without the pressure for wins this season.

The fans also have to stop expecting us to compete at this level with the current squad, sure we want to see effort but slagging off players at this point is a waste of time and not fair to the players who are giving their best when we know their best is not good enough.

Then lets change the goal this season to stop it being demoralizing, we are down anyway. The league cannot let us forfeit games, that would cause expulsion from the league and is completely defeatist. Let's use this time to try things like tactics, youngsters and formations. Lets see what we have and lets not pressure the team by expecting wins. Use this time to find the right manager, the right players and a way forward next season, we have a 6 month head start on all other teams who will be in L1 next season, lets get the structure right to take advantage of that.

SCO agree with some of your sentiments.

I realize forfeiting is a non starter and wasn’t thinking we would buy players in January but while we are under administration the EFL are limiting what we can do in terms of frees and or loans. Beyond January any free agents are likely to be old and or injury prone so that is not going to help with a rebuild and so we would be looking to find targets who can join in June or July.

WRT the rest of the season the best we can do is to blood the younger players without injuring them or demoralizing them. In terms of tactics and formations we seem to be completely lacking in enough skill for any option. Aside from maybe Brown no-one can hold the ball up front for hoofball, we don’t have skillful wingers to put in crosses and our technical skills mean we can’t play Pep/Red Bull Lastly we don’t have a midfield enforcer or anyone to take over from Bannan and a somewhat shaky error prone defence. Then if Charles gets sold to keep the lights on the GK pool is thin.

And now rumour of the Bord consortium going pear shaped.

All pretty glum really.

I don't expect any wins from this squad, though it would be nice, as professionals.

Forfeiture is really just a gripe at the current state of affairs. I would much prefer HP be forced to tr6 something different with the kids. Unfortunately, there's only a couple that look as if they'll ever actually develop.

Most of the seniors can phuk off at this point. Redmond taking us for mugs hasn't helped and now Cooper is sidelined.
It will be heartbreaking to lose Amass, as I keep saying. He is to us this season, as Shea Charles was last season, or could've been if given a full season.

Wednesday doing the right thing, formulating a plan for L1 next season is logical and ideal. Unfortunately, this is Wednesday and unlikely to ever happen.

Rumours circulating about the consortiums wheel's coming off now, as Washington mentioned.
This is the preferred bidder too, imagine how bad the others must've been.
