Haven't read the last page or so of comments, read the majority though.

Here's my two pennith.

First half poor, second half, slightly better than poor. Foster poor all night.

Think most people had a poor game. Ideye - Poor but the service was shocking. Actually thought Morrison and Fletcher were okay (ISH)

Brunt first half. Goodness knows. WE HAVE 5 MIDFIELDERS (Pretty Much) how can he not have a pass on - I would say out of 8 passes 9 were long / hoofed. The thing is no1 was close to him to give him an easy ball, so most the time it was forced upon us. Agree with Foxy R.E. Subs, should of bought a striker off and Sess on, just to give us more legs, and / or Mulumbu on for someone, to keep fresh legs in the middle, think a lot of them were tired after chasing shadows for 115mins without 1 substitute.

Also I don't know why for their goal Brunt is 1 on 1 with Benteke in the air, and then our Slowest CB is left 1 on 1 with the fastest player on the pitch. That's poor.

Hoping for more spirit on Saturday.

Luke East Baggie - That is the most honest frank and genuine assessment of the night, I was sat in the Villa end due to reasons and what you said is spot on, 1st half shit, 2nd half slightly better, shore up at 65 mins, take the point kill the bastards on Saturday!! Why no f****** subs TP.

That was the shittest night of my life, I feel like I've had an affair and slept with another woman, lord forgive me, I will never sit in somebody else's end to watch the Albion, fat old twat was bouncing next to me at the end, I wanted to launch him off the Doug Ellis!!! Quiet corner, suck my thumb, lick my wounds and cry like a baby!!!!!

Bring them claret and blue bastards on on Saturday!!!

Onetruebaggie if you are going to have an affair, make sure it is with a stunner of a woman-- but remember that the p**is is the most expensive tool.... in the World!!!. Many a Man has found this to be true in the Divorce Courts.

I am as much gutted about last night as any other baggies supporter BUT let's keep the Faith. Sure TP'S brand of football is not pretty ( not like the West Brazil Albion era under Mowbray et al) but if it means that we stay in the PL this season then so be it.
I am sure come the Summer Transfer Window, TP will revamp the squad. Let's hope for the best then.

There have been a few people knocking BF for his performance last night but there have been many a game where he has won us games with some remarkable Saves. We all have had an off day at work.

On the night, Villa wanted it more than us. Yes TP COULD/SHOULD have made better/more tactical substitutions but we have to trust him to get us over the line. He inherited a reasonable squad (not a good one). He has done well overall with the players at his disposal.

Saturday will be a totally different game-- one which we will WIN!!

Was hoping to be supporting the underdogs in those games but now with Villa on 25 points I don't want to get dragged back into it ourselves.

Those fixtures are reasons to be cheerful and I see little joy for our relegating fighting brothers down there, I'm confident were safe, it just f****** hurts losing to them in that manner.
My old man bless him said " douln't worry lad, Pulis will kick their arses up and they'll come back fighting on Saturday, mark my words the Albion will win, we won't play that badly with 6500 Baggies cheering them on and a good old fashioned arse kicking  this week, we'll be back, we wont lose to the s*** twice in a week matey"

God love you dad I hope your right!!!

Well, after last night's disaster we couldn't have asked for a better set of results from tonight. Let's hope that takes a bit of pressure off and helps the team forget that abomination and play with a bit of freedom and attacking intent on Saturday. If TP will let them...

Amen to that Vic; looks like those bottom three are in real danger now.
Some days I'm top dog, most days I'm just the lamp post.

If the side that's picked on Saturday only understand half the hurt that we supporters are feeling after that debacle then that should be all that is needed, TP, time to earn your money
Bonum vinum laetificat cor hominis.
