The Angel of the Southern Hemisphere might be available by Monday given Forest have just done at the start of the 2nd half what we did at the end of it on Thursday. What could we win with him next season because he never wins anything in his first?

I’ve just read Steven Chickens 5 conclusions from the Bolton game. It would seem I’m not the only one that thinks Grant will be gone by Bonfire night unless we pick up wins in the League and Cup comps between now and then.

Seems the Angel didn't last until the 3 o'clock kick offs.

I've been trying to think of other occasions when we've been involved in games that have completely turned around in added on time. And I can only think of two. One we one and one we lost.

Back in 1981/82, we played Brighton and Hove Albion in the League Cup 2nd round over two legs. As today, they were in the top flight and we were in the third tier, so a Town win would've been a major giant killing.

We won the first leg at Leeds Road 1-0 with Terry Austin on target. In the second leg, we still led 1-0 on aggregate in the 90th minute. Brighton then scored twice in injury time to not only deny us a crack at 30 minutes extra time, but knock us out of the Milk Cup.

Fate was in our favour a few years later in the FA Cup when we played Cambridge United of the Conference League in an FA Cup first round replay at the Galpharm Stadium. We'd had a goal less draw ten days previously at the Abbey Stadium and a crowd of just 3,766 turned up for the replay. One of the lowest recorded attendances at the new ground saw the U's take a 1-0 lead after half time and still held that lead as the fourth official held aloft his magic numbers board.

We had been very poor that night, but then two late goals from Lee Peltier and Gary Roberts took us through to the second round. This was the season that we went to round 4 and almost won at Arsenal.

Can any of you think of any more? There was that Scunthorpe game in 2003/04, but those late McAliskey goals were in the 87th and 90th minutes. Not panicking at all that day. Whistle

I can't recall who we played now but a few seasons back we were losing well into added time at home. I was under the stand walking out when our equaliser went in and I'd not got passed the back of the (um) North Stand when the winner went in. I got a call from one of my mates who couldn't make the game asking to confirm if we'd drawn and I said no, we'd won. Don't think that was the Scunny game but you never know. I rarely leave before 90 mins are up unless we're getting battered, but I sometimes take my chances in the added time stuff.

Anyway - back in the real world, here's a Yorksha League update

Is it just me or are Amazon losing it? Apparently they lost it completely all over the world today but for me personally ....

Not sure what their chuffing algorithms are based on but my last few purchases include rechargeable batteries, shower caddies etc. for the bathroom, a car vacuum cleaner, new little wheels so I can move my picnic bench around, engine oil for my petrol mower, some containers for various things. For the last few weeks, based on my recent purchases, Amazon think I would like to order some tea. The stuff that's cheaper in Morrisons and Asda anyway. Why?

Exactly!! Point proved m'lud, they are a bunch of utter fuckwits. I still buy from the local hardware shop when I can.

Are our coaching staff using Amazon algorithms to predict how our opponents will play and how fit our lot need to be by any chance? I think we should be told.
