It's unlikely. When I lived in Canada some of our customers were in Upstate Noo Yark. One of them was Remington Arms. They took us through the whole rifle manufacturing process from machining the stocks to the forging, machining, boring, reaming, rifling et al, assembley, customisation and testing. Yes, "the whole shooting match." The rifles were placed on test rigs to eliminate human error and if any were shooting repeatedly outside the "limits" of high/low/left/right then they were adjusted accordingly.
Each rifle was issued a certificate as to it's accuracy. If any came back because the owner(s) thought the rifle wasn't shooting straight, they found less than a slack handful in about every 10 years of production were more than something like 5% less accurate than when made. "Operator error due to lack of proper coaching/training" was the most often used reply. Plus ça change and all that. Given you can buy guns/rifles in Walmart and Guns 'r' Us (or something much like that), any wonder many of them can't shoot straight?
