Morecambe have signed Liverpool defender Rhys Williams on loan until January.
The 23-year-old former England Under-21 international has made nine Premier League appearances for the Reds.
He had loans with Aberdeen and Port Vale last season but only featured once for the former and did not play at all for the latter because of injury.
"I'm delighted, the manager has given me a chance to come and play football here and that's the main thing," Williams told the club website, external.
He is the 18th player to join the League Two club this summer.
Derek Adams' side have lost their first two league games and travel to Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.

Morecambe have signed forward Marcus Dackers on a season-long loan deal from fellow League Two side Salford City.
The 21-year-old came through Brighton & Hove Albion's academy before joining the Ammies' youth set-up in 2021.
“It’s a good chance for Marcus to get some regular game time at this level in light of the squad being strengthened during the window," Salford's director of football Ryan Giggs said., external
“He has done very well in the National League and the National League North in the last couple of seasons, and this will give him the opportunity to challenge himself in League Two."

Morecambe have signed goalkeeper Ryan Schofield on a short-term deal until the end of the season.
The 25-year-old was a free agent after leaving Portsmouth at the end of last season.
He started his career with hometown team Huddersfield and made 33 Championship appearances for the Terriers before being released at the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
"I was in last week training a bit which was nice to see the set-up, the facilities and how the gaffer wants to work, and I think it's something I can really get on board with," he told the club website.

Morecambe have signed midfielder Callum Cooke on a deal until the end of the season.
Cooke was a free agent having left National League Hartlepool United at the end of last season.
The 27-year-old links up with Morecambe boss Derek Adams, having played under the Scot at Bradford City.
"The gaffer gives you a license to go and express yourself, especially in the final third and being an attacking midfielder, having that is vital," Cooke told the Shrimps' official website, external.
Cooke is Morecambe's second January signing after goalkeeper Ryan Schofield, with the club 23rd in League Two, five points from safety.

Morecambe have signed Barnsley forward Andy Dallas on loan for the rest of the season.
The 25-year-old scored five goals in 23 appearances for Barrow during a loan spell in the first half of the season.
He made a goalscoring debut in a 7-0 win for Barnsley over Port Vale after joining them in the summer of 2023 but has yet to establish himself at Oakwell.
"I'll try and get in behind and obviously score goals, that comes with games, but what I can promise is work rate and I'll give everything for the shirt," Dallas told the Shrimps' website.
Morecambe are at home to Lancashire rivals Fleetwood Town on Saturday.

Barrow forward Ged Garner has joined Morecambe on loan for the rest of the League Two season.
The 26-year-old also spent the second half of last season on loan with the Shrimps, scoring four goals in 16 appearances.
Garner has netted four times in 22 appearances in all competitions for the Bluebirds so far this campaign.
He came through the ranks at Fleetwood Town before moving to Holker Street in a club-record deal in January 2023.
Garner told the club website, external: "I'm really excited. I was here last year and really enjoyed it, it's really good to be back.
"It doesn't feel like I've been away. There's a lot of familiar faces, especially in the backroom staff."

ormer club captain Barry Roche has left Morecambe after 17 years at the Shrimps that spanned both playing and coaching roles.
The ex-goalkeeper, who first joined Morecambe in 2008 and went on to make more than 400 appearances, was instrumental in helping the club preserve their League Two status on a number of occasions until hanging up his boots in 2020.
He famously scored a 96th-minute equaliser against Portsmouth in February 2016 and enjoyed a brief spell as caretaker manager, winning his only match in charge in November 2019.
Roche has acted as goalkeeping coach for the past five years for the now National League outfit who were relegated in May after finishing bottom of League Two.
Morecambe said Roche has left to "pursue new opportunities" but did not elaborate further.
"Barry has demonstrated unwavering dedication, professionalism, and passion throughout his time with us," co-chairman Rod Taylor told the club website., external
"His leadership and commitment have been instrumental both as a player and as a coach, and his presence will be greatly missed. We wish him the very best and will always welcome him back as a friend and a true club legend."
