Well what a difference 12 months can make.

One year ago this weekend, Jack Rudoni was hauled off before half time in our rout at Ipswich.

Today he scored twice for Coventry to secure their play pff place.

And twelve months ago, people were saying he was the problem. Rolleyes Whistle Confused Blush Sick Doh Huh

He was part of the problem at Town, billy big balls going around the dressing room telling other players he’ll be moving to the Premier League whilst the rest of you will be going to Northampton, absolute bell!

Not the only problem at the club though which is more than evident to everyone at the club now. 2 years of ownership and mistake after mistake at every turn. Hindsight is a great thing and we probably shouldn’t have given Warnock another contract but we did,he probably shouldn’t have given Ward, Ruffles and Hudlin new contracts…but he did. We then sacked Warnock when we probably shouldn’t have.
Appointed Moore….whose football was a bore, having said that we only lost 19 in the league last season…we’ve lost 20 this season.
Any road, we sacked Moore and went with the German bloke. He told the board what the problems were, the board didn’t listen. Now that was a big mistake but I can’t help feel that the biggest mistake at that point was not appointing Nathan Jones…yes I know he’s a shit, I know none of the Town fans liked him but I tell you what he wouldn’t have stood for displays like that yesterday and many more throughout the season. He would have been the nasty bar steward that this club needs.
We appointed Duff, we sacked Duff because the chairman said he heard us, the problem was he didn’t hear it was actually Cartwright we wanted sacked. We appoint Worthington on a wing and a prayer…he continued the theme of every manager in charge has finished in a lower position than his predecessor under this owner.
What next, I’ve no idea. I wouldn’t renew one single contract and would be looking to cut loose a lot of the contracted players. Money wise we look to be down a hole…I was told season card sales had reached 5.5k before Town buckled again and extended the deadline.. I was trying to work out if the board were good for listening to supporters or weak at cracking under pressure, sadly I think it’s the latter.

Some of the 5,500 will be the family stand which won't see a profit as I think the price is the sane. Also, some of the 5,500 must be free kids so again no money made. I want to know the number they've sold at increased prices.

There's 4 (lady supporters) sat next to me - that renewed last month (so they said yesterday) though there's two kids amongst them who's ages I'd be scared to guess but if I had to - tweenagers. Appeared from nowhere this season and I assume it's two mums (sisters or friends) and two daughters. None of my business really. It's the crap-stand-lower that's the same £249 we've been paying elsewhere for ages, not the sun-in-your-eyes upper with kids. U14's are free all round the ground anyway. Quite honestly, you couldn't pay me £249 to sit in the crap stand, even for one match.

The problem is keV listens to outside voices too often.

He appointed Warnock because fans begged him to. Signed those players because Warnock said to do so, Cartwright signed wiles. Sacked Warnock because he wasn't the right sort of person to work with him (Cartwright) and appointed Moore because Cartwright said he plays attacking football. Breitenriter was recommended to nagle by someone outside the club, those issues he highlighted were probably downplayed by Cartwright who'd have said things like he's protecting his back or angry German, to cover his own and get him another season.

Duff was Cartwrights second choice, after Moore, notice he picked the two league one play off final managers, he didn't know shit about English football of the last few years after leaving Stoke and England. He'll never work in England again, other clubs will have heard the chants from fans.

What next we need the money and time he's promised on socials and a project manager to rebuild. People online have mentioned Joe savage formerly of hearts. Was chief scout at pne and Norwich how good he did at either I don't know but I imagine his time at Norwich coincided with farke getting them promoted and relegated a few times so there were some good players I guess. Pne maybe riis (defo have here) but not sure. Anyway, he rebuilt hearts and helped them into Europe three consecutive seasons, sure coach has a lot to do with it but, it's under his watch. Currently unemployed so I imagine immediately available. Coach wise, anyone's guess

Brizzle Rovers quick out of the Sack Race blocks sacking Inigo Calderon on Sunday. Generous of them to give him Bank Holiday Monday off.

These were seats next to us on Saturday; all groups of 2 or 3nwho didn't turn up. They're ALWAYS there. Also, the 2 to the left of me weren't there or the 2 directly in front of me. We know those four are not renewing and I'd say there's a good chance that most of those in these 2 rows aren't either. We wouldn't have been there but for Hoggy. They've lost most of the fans. I still want to know how many of the 5,500 are in the £419 or £439 bracket. I think the chap on the end of our row to the left of me is, because he said see you next season and I said unlikely, but his child will qualify for free and then one lot of £419 doesn't sound so bad. I'd do it if there was just one of us which is why I asked Snoots if he wanted to go solo. After all, he's been going since he was 7, a season ticket holder since he was 16/17 and he took my nephew when I only went to the odd match. However, it's become a couple thing now. Also, my nephew was going to renew but then he asked last week if we really were giving up because he said he really doesn't want to. He's seen bad times, technically worse than this, but there's something very wrong that is starting to feel unfixable. I'm sure they will but I really wouldn't like to guess how long that will be. I fear we will be seeing League 2 first. If the eejits in charge either get a manager I can get behind or lower the prices to match the product (hate that phrase; sorry to use it; football shouldn't be talked about in that way), I will still renew. But, if they us go, we won't be back whatever improvements they scrape together. We'll just get in the habit of using the time for something else because we know ourselves too well. We've already arranged a Saturday out with my nephew and his girlfriend and that sort of thing will be infinitely more appealing than that shower of ****.

The nephew was watching Yorkshire on YouTube whilst we were there Saturday. That was new but telling. We left after Hoggy was subbed. He left when the 4th goal went in. We can't even look forward to a Costa after the match now because it closes too soon. We used to enjoy a natter about it all amongst ourselves and all the other familiar faces that were in there every fortnight.

Yes, on my way out after it went 3-1 on Saturday I said to the bloke in front of me…I’ll see you next season…he replied…you will have good eyesight if you do. He’s not renewing, he comes from Bradford and used to support Park Avenue way back in the day. I suspect he’ll go back to watching them next season.
As I’ve said before on here,we have a group of 5 that car share every home game. It’s worked well and we split the Gas works car park pass between us at £27each for the season.
5x £249
5x £27 car park each
£1380 plus spend on the day, programme, beer and food

Next season as it stands we are looking at
2x £389
1x £419
3x £60 car park each
£1377 plus spend on the day which will drop because we are 2 less in the group

We may even be down to 2in the group if they don’t inspire us with managerial appointments not to mention we may even knock the car park on the head.

Way to drive revenue Mr Nagle and co!.

One last point, we had 9 home league games on Sky/Sky red button this season. So taking that into account, stay at home and watch them and only pay to go to the non televised games.
£28 x 14 non televised games = £392
It’s cheaper to follow Town that way than buying the season card

I've even suggested to Snoots that we go to the occasional Bury match. I've worried about them since they were crapped on by the league. I don't know whether we will but it's an idea.

I thought we were going to get season tickets for Inverness Caledonian Thistle? It's a bit further to go, but it'd be better than the tripe that Nagle's serving up. Whistle
