"PL clubs were not allowing their players to go out on loan" ???? That's what you call a half truth by SG. For some reason PL clubs are not letting there players join us on loan. Who's to blame for that.

My thoughts exactly, the recent borrowing of Baker ( one of Chelsea's starlets no less) an.d deciding that Maguire et all were still better, giving the lad little to no game time possibly resulted in the great one recalling him.

I highly doubt any Prem manager that needs their youngsters playing regular football have us in mind after SG's consistent series of brain farts. It's more likely that he's burned his bridges or has limited contacts, no one is willing to let SG ruin their player by either playing them out of position or destroy their confidence by making them watch dire football from the bench...

Bakers dad is an Owl, I'm going to go out on a limb and say Baker would have wanted to impress his dad with a good performance, had he ever really been given a chance. Instead we played Maguire? Who is more likely to have put in a graft?

Arsenal recalled Afobe with a couple of games left last season because they weren't happy with him being a constant sub & used as a winger - he got two starts in three months so I guess we will be black listed by Arsenal. Mourinho said that Baker needs to be playing to continue his development after he recalled him so I guess we won't be getting any loan players from Chelsea.

That is the two biggest loaners in English football and SG has pissed them both off. Chelsea loaned out 92 players last season. Imagine if we had Bamford.
