Bit nervy early doors, but we settled down after the first goal and Mikey showed why Corberan needs to keep faith in him. Pretty much one way traffic in the second half, should have been three or four if we could finish. Damn good win to kick off the festivities.

I also think we should be looking at Bristol City's Japanese lad in January, just because the chants for Yu write themselves:

Only Yu
And I Love Yu So
Yu Shook Me All Night Long

If we snaffle Ben Mee off Brentford, we could even have Look What Yu Made Mee Do Whistle

I see Pereira was at the game yesterday. That should crash the internet with speculation ?

That would be a nice Christmas present.

Looks like Carlos has jumped ship.
We need a new manager for Xmas.

Confirmation still pending as of now, but it seems Valencia have triggered his release clause and we're just waiting to hear his statement in the next 24 hours. Pretty much the worst time of year for us to go back to square one. Merry Christmas, eh Rolleyes

If he goes I see it as a chance to get a manager in who is going to turn our draws into wins. Carlos has been great for the club but as I said a few months back his style of play is solidly based on organisation and build from the back system. I couldn't see him getting us promoted. Just what we needed after Bruce, but he was not the man to get promotion.
The new manager, must continue in the Carlos way until FFP and club finances allow player investment.
Obvious choices would be Cooper, Potter, etc
With the financial restrictions I can't see either of them be interested. Assume the new owners have a network and have a young eager European manager already in mind.
Interesting times ahead
