LAST MATCH

We got back to winning ways with a win at Hull. We created chances again but were let down by finishing again, while Beadle made a couple of good saves at the other end. Then a miracle happened, we were actually awarded a penalty for the first time in 558 day. Thankfully Windass stepped up and fired it into the corner. Onto the 2nd half and Hull had a chance to level but Beadle saved again. We then made the game safe, Palmer got down the left, crossed deep to the far post, Musaba steered it back and Smith finished well.

THE MATCH

Next up and a short trip south to Derby. Derby have mad an Ok start to the season, currently in 15th place. and will probably have enough to stay away from a relegation fight. They are managed by Paul Warne, who has been in charge since September 2022 and got them promoted on the last day of last season. There leading scorer is Yates, who has 4 goals and 2 assists so far this season.

Flopping and dirty tactics.

You're right though, they've figured this league out.

Sunderland and Pigs

Absolutely deserved each other. Horrible dirty fouling and flopping for tactical advantages by both sets of players.
Trying to outcheat one another for a spot near the top..

This is what the game is boiling down to as Clubs desperately vie for EPL money and all the security it brings.

Their game last night was a perfect example of this, absolutely perfect example showing that sportsmanship and common decency is again absent in the face of big money and those who earn big money.

Wilder, good manager but just another one with no integrity. Proven by his drunken jibes at DR.
