it wasn't really 442 yesterday though, Keane played most of the game at LM, it was more 4141

Starting line up had that total waste of space noopoo in it and you want him to lace up again???
He couldn't score a sodding goal if he had a bloody guarded escort leading him to it.
The guy is bleeding useless. Should be banned from S6. Either May, Bus (if he's fit) or Madine (bring the sod back!!), Keane, or even that guy who does the naked belly dancerTango would be better.
When did May last score for us?
When did Madine last score for us?
What have you seen Bus do that makes you think he'll be better than Nuhiu? He did fúck all vs Brighton
Can Keane play up front by himself when needed?
And what do you mean by tossing stuff about? You name call more than anyone on here. You don't even have the respect to call Nuhiu by his name and haven't for over a year

Mostly agree with this, May has been just as disappointing as Nuhiu and Bus had a couple of decent efforts against Brighton and its too early to judge him, but he was slated to be playing up front until the injury in the warm up. Madine hasn't played for us but hasn't exactly done great with his loan moves either!! Keane could possibly play up front, as can Nuhiu, but I don't see may or Bus doing that as well as the other two.
Our strikers have struggled all year, of that there is no doubt, and they must take the lions share of the blame for this, but our wide men and midfield have also not created enough gilt edged chances either. As time has gone on they are all desperate to score and consequently they are snatching at the chances they do get!!!

Keane played on the left in parts but drifted up front. Not sure if this was intended or just happened. It was useful because he scored when he was playing up front in a 442.
Think those questions are a bit of a red herring. Madine has started one league game for is in almost two years so has hardly had a chance to score. May is the only player to score at home for us except penalties since September so might be a good choice at home.
That has been such a recurring theme of SGs reign, players playing out of position either deliberately by him or by them drifting out of position to get somethung moving!! Maguire/Mags both out wide most of the year when both of them are better in other positions, May drifting out wide during games and now Keane!! SG has the defence very well organized but he has been unable to achieve that in midfield or up front!!

Most of my "name calling" as you characterize it has been in fun, thurnscoe. I even pmed you on that but you didn't have the courtesy to respond. Imre has a coarse brand of humor which is fun, and he and I can call each other names without either of us taking it personally. But your personal references to my age don't come across that way. They come across as impertinent, without humor. Don't ever think of making a career out of creative writing.
SCO. I have to differ with you here. "May has been just as disappointing as Nuhiu." May has been disappointing, granted. But, Nuhiu had all last season with the club and has been given chance after chance this season. May, on the other hand, it's his first season with the club. Yes, we all wish May had performed better, but to place him in the same category as Nuhiu is stretching it. Madine, as has been pointed out, has not been allowed to show what he can do by SG.

That's fine then. You name calling is fine, me doing it back is personal and insensitive. Got it

Madine's record at Championship level is four goals from eleven starts (3 from 9 for Wednesday, 1 from 2 for Blackpool) which is a better than any of our other strikers.

Madine won't play for us again though so there is no point in even considering him as an option. It's partly his own fault for being a knob off the pitch, the rest of the blame stands with Dave Jones and SG for not giving him a chance.
For what it's worth, I don't think he will cut it at this level as a prolific striker either

We definitely need a winger in who can provide service. We then need a striker who can score should the current ones still be flops

Yes Nuhiu had all of last season, but it didn't stop Wednesday fans saying he was shite last season at this time. I would venture that Nuhiu probably did better in his first season than May has in his, either way they have both been pretty shite!!! Also May has only come from Scotland, he shouldn't be struggling with the language or culture like Nuhiu had to learn, so I would cut him less slack anyway.
