Bloke I work with “our name is on the cup”. Shame I am in Lanzarote and not back to work until 25th March. Be to late to rib him about how the dog heads had kittens, bottled it and blow a cup semi final place to a championship team. My heart is broken for them ………. Not.
It’s the least the trouble making, six fingered, in bred dingle cliente deserve, ah well, always next year. HaHaHaHaHaHa

Salop,
Easily, he’s a dog head after all.
Hope the semi distracts the sky blues as well, maybe one less pushing for top six.

I'm inevitably biased because of the Wolves-Cov result, but can anyone remember a better crop of FA Cup quarter-finals? Two stone-cold classics at Molineux and Old Trafford, a third that wasn't far off at Stamford Bridge, and it was only Newcastle who didn't get the memo and decided to roll over.
Ten-man Newcastle coming from 3-1 down to beat Leicester in 1974 might have been the best ever, but the result was declared null and void after the pitch invasion and the other QF ties that year weren't up to much. 1981 had a 3-3 draw between Ipswich and Forest along with a 2-2 draw between Everton and City; 2001 had the famous Wycombe upset at Leicester when they signed a new striker through an ad on Ceefax and he scored the last-gasp winner, along with Spurs beating West Ham 3-2. There were a couple of high-scoring draws in 2007 too.
The only other candidate I can think of is 2008, with three upsets - Portsmouth beating United, Barnsley beating Chelsea, Cardiff beating Boro - and our 5-1 win at Bristol Rovers. But again, hardly an unbiased choice

The breaking of FFP rules carries what punishment. Looks like points deduction ATM. I'm assuming the slate is clean once sentence has been passed. A few points deduction almost makes it an acceptable risk.

Unless you are Man City or Chelsea, in which case you can do what you like, spend what you like and have no comeback at all, as you can afford the quality of lawyer who can run rings around the F.A. lawyers. A bit like a Premiership team playing a league two team I guess.

I see on Easter Monday, it's:
Leicester v Norwich
Leeds v Hull
... and Birmingham, scrapping for every point, v Preston.
Come on all home teams!!

Leicester 3 1 Norwich
.... so beating Watford will put us 6 points clear, with a much better goal difference.
(... you just KNOW what's gonna happen....)

Another point, good to keep the unbeaten run going.
CCs game plan of keeping it tight in the first half needs some tweaking. Were giving out opponents the incentive to take charge.

Phew!
Soton 2 Coventry 1 last night was a biggy, and almost guarantees our play off place, I'd suggest?
Sheffield Wednesday coming back to draw with Norwich also good, but the Canaries, like us, are probably still going to make it
