Standings

The two draws were against Swansea (1-1) and Brum (0-0). The losses against Coventry (3-1), Leeds (1-0) and Blackburn (4-0).
Gareth Ainsworth is holding on as head coach and has been there since February. This isn't his first time there. He stood in as caretaker whilst still playing in 2008 and 2009. The rest of his managerial career being at Wycombe, of course, from 2012 to 2023. I wonder if this lot will keep faith for as long?

So what does head to head look like?

Most recently, we've had the better of them or, at least, got a draw. They haven't beaten us since 2021 at Loftus Road. We've a good record prior to that, too.

I've listened to the first three of Alan Johnson's autobiographies; he's one of my trade union and socialist heroes. Live with it. The chaffinch is not for turning. Although Alan wasn't born until 1950, he is a QPR fan and Dave Mangnall is mentioned for getting them promoted in 1948.

Do you have a favourite autobiography?
I have many. Alan's are up there.

Other famous fans
Another politician who says he is a fan is Michael Gove. Is that being a fan like he is a dancer? Least said, I think.
I know I've mentioned the singers before but there does seem to be a rock / punk vibe to their musician fans; Ian Gillan, Robert Smith, Mick Jones, and Glen Matlock.
Shane Richie and Martin Clunes from the world of entertainment and acting.
Louis Theroux, documentary maker and interviewer with a dry wit.
Alex Tudor from the cricket world.
