There is talk of 10 million for him. I think that is great business if we can get anything near that, over 8 million would be good. He has stagnated over the last couple of years, since his mate Pereira went and Phillips seems preferred by CC. He definitely has skills and is amazing on his day, but his day does not happen often enough.

It seems Southampton may be interested as well, let’s hope for a bidding war!

The real fear is CC going to get any funds to strengthen the squad. Potentially Grady, Grant, Griffiths and Molumby will be sold and with Dara. Rogic, Livermore, Bryan, Albrighton gone we are having a fire sale.

With you guys having got me a bit excited over the past two weeks, then nothing happens, now you say Grady could go for £10M, which barely covers what we owe for him, I'd be surprised if we get £5M tops having been injured for as may gams as he's played over the past three years.

Also I ask again why is the amount un-disclosed after a transfer? Cos i don't know why - anybody? Huh

It doesn't appear the likes of Livermore have been bought since release that i have seen.

Oh, is it a rumour that we have bought an amateur team to play for us with our retained players this year.. Dodgy

Hopefully some truth in the Furlong rumour. He's the sort of mediocrity we've seen wearing the shirt for far too many years.

With just over 2 weeks until we kick off we have not signed anyone. Where was our new leaders / motivators coming from.
With money being an issue you cannot simply impose your own transfer embargo. Unless you accept we aren't going to compete for a promotion spot.
How long will Carlos put up with these restraints.
If we can't be competitive what's the objective - survival. What a sad state.

So many things wrong with signing anyone with his injury record.
A decent player WHEN fit.
The hydropool will be getting overcrowded.
Seals want a fee for him.
Exactly the type of player we don't need.
