Time's up, Fothers. If we can't afford a new manager, give it to Narcis to the end of the season. The players looked like they would play for him in his one match in charge.

What's to lose?

That was dreadful, 1st goal is a good finish but we had about 8 players in the box and nobody shut him down.

At 2-0 down he takes Rhodes off for a like for like substitution rather than keeping him on and throwing caution to the wind and going 2 up top.

The guy is clueless, his tactics are clueless, his training is all about running and no tactics.

Get him out of the club, if we can’t afford to sack him then stick him on gardening leave

Well, it's a rare day I leave early but I was on the 16:50 back to Coventry, as were a few other Town fans, despite how much of a detour they put you through to get there.

I said this guy should be nowhere near the decisions on who comes in and who goes out this month. I've yet to see anything that convinces me I'm wrong.

A bunch of comfy seats in his gob would not turn him into a good coach. Don't care what it costs, GET RID NOW.

He needs to go. Clueless.

How high started let alone stayed in so long. It feels like he's a scapegoat, but tbf to him it's not his fault, he's not good enough to start yet our brave heart of a manager feels that he should. We've absolutely square root of fakall in terms of creativity. The two most creative are Holmes and rudoni and both take too many touches and make the wrong decisions 8 times out of 10.

We're losing so we take our most natural finisher off and replace him with a 'footballer' that has struggled to make the grade at nearly every club he's played at. Aye makes sense Robbie burns doesn't it.

We're losing so we stick with 5 defenders... Is that in hope of a set piece because for that we need to do something to get one, might as well go with a back 4 and get something else on further up the pitch.

I've nothing really against any of our defenders as such. I think lees in limited and suited to being on the cover in the middle of a back 3 if we are playing that way, in a 4 or on the side of a back 3 I think he's a bit weak. Helik is high up on the stats for interceptions and clearances, but God he's also limited, maybe even more so, but he's probably shading lees for a back 4. Pearson been out so long and he's also limited but I do like him, but I think it's a problem playing a back 3 when all 3 are limited. In a back 4 would you get away with helik and Pearson? Meh slow.

Full backs/wing backs ruffels is awful and Jackson now doesn't even get a look in, lowton is solid.

Midfield probably needs to be Hogg and kasumu for me.

Personally I would fire fotheringham and get someone like smith or wilder in. Failing that Warnock but if he won't take the Cardiff job he won't take this one.

Formation wise I'd revert to 4-2-3-1 or maybe even a boring 4-4-2 if we can get a decent enough partner for Rhodes.

If I'm playing 4-2-3-1 I'm going with

A keeper
Lowton helik Pearson Jackson
Hogg kasumu
Knockaert rudoni hungbu
Rhodes.

Have Hogg split the two CBS and the full backs get forward and help the wide men. The three behind Rhodes be flexible and keep rotating around much like pilks and Roberts used to.

If it's a 4-4-2 it's much the same but one of hungbu or rudoni dropping out for the second striker. Would ward work, not sure, we tried earlier and he seemed to be treading on Rhodes toes and making the same runs which didn't work. Kamberi? Doesn't look much of a footballer. That leave Simpson who suffers the same fate and needs a loan. Hudlin who's scored a few tap ins, his height would be an issue for players but I don't think he's ready. So that leaves harratt who might run a lot or playing someone out of position ala Holmes or rudoni

Well who ever he's brought in and who ever he brought on, the tactics before and after amounted to the square root of f'all. Despite his claim that we're mid-table since he came in we are at best middle of the bottom 3. If he's the answer, the question is why are we back in League 1 again, which we will be if he's still here before I cook my breakfast on Monday.

jjamez, thee, me 'n' a thousand other Town fans couldn't do any worse. But it's not picking the players, they are mostly all capable. It's getting them to play in a way that pulls the other team apart to create chances and score goals. We had 3 tame headers and one shot on target that results in a corner. If we had more, well I was taking that 800 yd detour round the carpark that the pricks at Coventry think is a good idea by then. There's a lot of pricks in Coventry too, fortunately I don't work with many but we've one too many as head coach at Huddersfield.

Today was also the first time (I've not been all month) I detected a hint of the fans attitude changing. Coventry started singing "Your going down", the Town fans joining in with "We're going down" as a bit of a "f'off you lot" we own our demise not you, but also gallows humour not really heard since our Prima Donna League days

Well they weren't singing "Sacked in the morning" when I left but apparently we came up against "a side playing with great confidence". Is this the same Coventry that hadn't won in 5 games or another one that plays in a different league? They were different league to us in the 2nd half as far a finishing is concerned.

A couple of things, we had a goalie in yesterday taking a medical, if he doesn’t pass then we are going to try for Smithies again.

And expect a player to leave for a fee before window is out and then expect us to use that money to pay a certain someone off Whistle
