Coventry are no doubt delighted to free up his portion of their wage bill. One 5 goals a season (if you are lucky) goal machine arrives ... when does our current 5 goals a season goal machine depart? Um, experience at this stage of the season is one thing Frothy Coffee Man, actual ability to score goals is another thing completely. Happy to be proved wrong but somehow, I doubt I will be.

I say, I say, I say ... I once scored a few goals a season.

PS Snoots - it was a shoulder issue that meant he didn't (he never would have) played last weekend. It was supposed to be a one week wonder of an issue. It has all the hallmarks of a one week at a time until the end of the season issue with the bollox coming from Town right now. He's either got a minor problem or a serious problem, Frothy hasn't a clue which it is, or if he does, he's not allowed to say. They wonder why we think they treat us ("the best fans in the country" says Frothy) like idiots.

wonder what sort of lineup we'll see today. will the new signings feature? nicholls going to play with one arm in a sling? hark back to the olden days when a new signing would just appear on the team sheet?

I personally would be restoring rhodes to the 11 and hopefully hogg will be back fit too. maybe we'll soon see a good old fashioned 4-4-f-ing-2

Quote:Matty Pearson makes his first start of the season in today’s Sky Bet Championship game against Hull City; 3pm kick-off at the MKM Stadium!

The experienced defender completes his return from the long-term foot injury sustained in our pre-season friendly at Bolton Wanderers to make his first appearance under Head Coach Mark Fotheringham.

Fotheringham has also handed a start to midfielder Scott High, who was recalled earlier this week from his loan at fellow Championship side Rotherham United.

Unfortunately Lee Nicholls’ shoulder issue rules him out of today’s game, so Australia Under-23 international Nicholas Bilokapic starts his first Championship game in goal.

Skipper Jonathan Hogg is fit to start despite being withdrawn in our last league game against Luton Town as a precaution.

Jacob Chapman is our backup goalkeeper among the subs this afternoon, where he is joined by January recruits Florian Kamberi and Martyn Waghorn. As Fotheringham explained could be the case in Friday’s pre-match press conference, Anthony Knockaert isn’t involved today as he gets back up to speed on the training pitches.

Fotheringham is still also without Ollie Turton (ankle), Tino Anjorin (ankle), Danny Ward (hamstring), Pat Jones (hamstring) and Yuta Nakayama (Achilles)

And therein lies our issues folks. We have a manager who wants a back 9 and a club that cannot manage any of our creative players.

Scott high comes straight back into the team ahead of kasumu and camara? Must be because he's Scottish coz he ain't good enough, but bromby raves about him too and he runs around... Yay

Ruffels is still on the left and still sh... Yet Jackson can't even get in the squad now, when just a few weeks ago he was flavor of the month for our manager, claiming he's a dream, he's both footed, works hard, can play in the attacking areas and can be a defender... Must be going to rangers? Camara being sold too? Kkh going back to vanilla? I mean how else do we afford our splurging out on OAPs?

Glad Pearson is back, but I fear this is way too soon considering the time he's been out, if I was hull I'd be targeting him and ruffels, which is a big problem for us as that's both the right and left side!

The sooner they ditch the sports bra's with the GPS/LPS tracker that just monitors, how far, how fast and how often and where they start and finish and has bugger all to do with playing ability the better. Coaches might then have to get back to looking at what players can actually do with the ball. I won't hold my breath.

Rotherham battered Blackburn 4-0 Doh

and iFollow is on the blink just for a change. It's that bad Radio Local couldn't even finish their apology for not being able to broadcast the chatter from Hull.
