As a championship club fighting for points at the wrong end of the table I doubt they give 2 shiny shits about the cup ...plus it put McGuiness in the shop window and his 300k price tag is now at least 1 million !!! Cardiff will be laughing there bollocks off tbh Wink

That is strange, Moore said yesterday that the clubs had agreed to talks after the Newcastle game so there was a deliberate decision made by someone for him to stay until then. Maybe they thought they would be going out anyway as they play L**ds today but as I type that they have just taken the lead!!

Ipswich and Derby through so no extra games for us compared to them. Plymouth still in the FA Tropy so some of their players will have that extra game as well. Still a number of teams below us that have games in hand, so their fixture schedule is still more congested than ours anyway. Our fixture away at Barnsley will be postponed, as will Ipswich's at home to Accrington but more interestingly so will Plymouth who were due to play Derby on the 4th round weekend.

Apparently the break clause inn the loan agreement for McGuiness didn't come into effect until after this weekend, thats why we were able to play him.
