In that case the shout might be "handball" rather than "Olé"

5) Van Gaal, Queiroz, Santos, Suarez, Tite - oldest coaches at the WC? They certainly ain't bairns any of them, assuming this Suarez isn't the player that thinks he's Dracula.

Is that bridge supposedly the oldest or oldest surviving bridge in North America?

The Philadelphia Phillies are the oldest continuous one-name, one-city professional sports team in American history, might be a bridge too far?

Groups C1
What is the national sport of Argentina?

They have a thing with horses (Gauchos?) as well as selling most of their beef to Germany, apart from the Frey Bentos Corned Beef and pies in a tin shit they sell to us. I can't recall a single German restaurant (other than a few Chinese they have) including the Italian ones, that wasn't selling/cooking Argentinian steaks, so Polo wouldn't surprise me or some other horsey sport.

Handball might be in there Whistle but I think it's really more of a European thing.

If donuts are per capita then I'll go for Canada. Every road junction/intersection (or crossroads as we call them) has either donut shops or petrol stations with a donut shop on each corner. 2 of each or 3 & 1 in either combination isn't unusual. You don't need to dial 911 either - just walk down there, there's always at least two marked cars in one of the car parks.

It was 3:15 before I got home from a very damp drive down the M6 so missed that.

I've tried cheating and I still can't solve it jjamez, but in the Teams Section ....

C4. I was trying to think of some famous Polish footballer, that may or may not have played for Man City at some point (Deyna?) when I were a lad, well OK I were a 20 something, then the penny dropped. He has his photo in every window in Krakow that he stuck his head out of and waved to the crowds. Famous for "smoking in the boys room", well it's one, nay the only way of getting elected as Pope. Called himself John Paul as they wouldn't allow John Paul George Ringo 1st for some reason.

If you ever get the chance to go to Krakow, even if only for a long weekend break, I highly recommend it.

C3 Saudi has a lot of desalination plants for some reason. Reservoirs?

G3 - tallest mountain in Switzerland - the obvious one is Mont Blanc but I'm not sure the border at the peak also includes Switzerland. I know some of it is in Switzerland because the BA pilots love doing a 90°C bank to avoid it before landing in Geneva or Turin (and spill your drink all over you). The next obvious one is The Matterhorn but it's probably more famous for it's shape and challenge to climbers than its height. If it's not one of these two then I'm Googling it.
