We are over a third of the way to that already, 16 more draws gives us the record and allows 17 more games to win. 78 points no promotion but a new record for the Albion.

Sun reporter Alan Nixon reporting that potato head still has the backing of Gourlay, just how bad do results have to get before he is giving the boot. We are nearly a third of the way into the season with one win. It seems as though Bruce will be here until promotion is mathematically impossible and relegation is a real possibility.

I thought the Luton game was as bad as any I've seen this season.
Don't get me wrong, we've been woeful and I've been calling for Bruce's head since about the 4th game. But this was the first game when we looked completely and utterly impotent... At least in every other game we've had a good spell where we looked like scoring. Not yesterday. It just seems like whenever Bruce looks for "solutions" it gets worse. I can't believe we reverted back to the dreadful 3 at the back when we need wins. We have seen time and time again that we don't have enough men getting forward with this formation. Plus it means we couldn't fit either of Swift or Rogic in the side (last week they were treading on each others toes when Bruce shoe horned them in) and had Wallace out of position. To pay big money for these players and then drop them for Matty Phillips, who also was playing out of position, is simply beggars belief. Bruce really just needs to get back to basics. 4 at the back. 2 sitting midfielders. 3 attacking midfielders closer to the forward. (By forward, I just mean whichever midfielder we play up front). We need continuity. Decide your best formation. Decide your best right back. Give the lads a run together so they don't look like strangers every game. We don't need Connor Townsend and Pieters on the pitch together with our best creators warming the bench. It's ridiculous. As for Gourlay, what a complete a utter numbskull. The fact we are so skint we can't even pay Bruce off shows how moronic this man is.

Bruce has completely lost the plot, although that assumes there was a plot in the first place. The longer we delay his dismissal, the worse it will get. Next game is Reading away; what happens if we lose that? Does he get another few games “to turn it round”? When is enough actually enough?
