It will be interesting to see tonight’s team selection. It’s clear, as Slick and others have mentioned, that the balance of Saturday’s midfield was completely wrong - Man City can play an ostensibly attacking midfield because they press high and all of them also defend. Ours didn’t on Saturday so I’m guessing the likely outcome will be the return of Yokuslu at the expense of one of the more attack minded players; after all, Bruce cannot afford a defeat tonight.
However, as we are playing a side who can’t score goals this season (6goals in 11 matches), I’d also suggest that anything less than a win would be unacceptable.
So, do we settle for a draw and stagger on to Luton, or do we regard anything less than a win as a sacking offence?

Regardless of tonight's result Bruce, and Gourlay for that matter, have to go.
The club is spiralling towards league 1 and who knows how much worse it will be after that.
Lai is never going sell and take a massive loss. He will strip the club of every asset it has, be that players, or god forbid the Hawthorns!!! there will certainly be no investment. This in it self makes us such an unattractive proposition for any manager other than the likes of another dinosaur looking to make himself relevant again so even if Bruce does go who will come in.
I'm really worried for my club, I just can't see any future under this current regime.

So, I think we are all unanimous in wanting rid of Steve Bruce and so what result do you want out of tonight v PNE
1. We win handsomely (resulting in a stay of execution - who knows we could go on a ten game winning streak)
2. We scrap a draw and they delay a decision based on next few fixtures
3. A draw so we get a point but maybe not enough to save the man
4. Defeat so to underline and ensure the departure of the man.

Option 6 ..... We win handsomely. Start a winning streak to the end of the season. Win the league and the FA cup in the same season AGAIN (1931). And Wolves head hunt Bruce after the Luton game, play more shite than they do now and get relegated along with the vile.
My preferred choice.

Shocking defending again
Mulumby just watching, no leadership

Baggieone, are you surprised, nearly every game we have conceded first and conceded early. Preston six goals this season, loads of 0 - 0, they will score six tonight.
A good win and with fair results we could end the night fifteenth, looks more likely to be twenty second.
Taxi for Bruce.
