You do seem to start off quite well Dancing and then tail off mid way through the season. I over think it Dev when I do my predictions, this league is unpredictable.
You can still join St Charles.

I tend to overthink it as well, Matt (insofar as my ancient braincells are still capable of rational thought). I have been known in the past to study form tables, head-to-head records, betting odds; you name it. Does no bloody good at all. Might as well stick to the dice. I wonder whether using Football Manager would be any good?

Football Manager won't help you with predictions but it does help you keep track of players and find good players as clubs actually use the same database as FM.

Only joking about the Football Manager, Matt; even I`d never go that far.
Interesting what you said about clubs using the same database, though. I read a story - a couple of years or so ago now - about a guy who, purely out of academic interest, took over a non-league club on the game, gave it £1 billion to spend and then sat back and let the game`s algorithms run the club to see how far it would get. From memory, I think he used FC United first (they got to the top half of the Premier League, as I recall) and then Boston United, who actually made it to the Champions League. I`m not sure whether that would happen in real life, though.

It was a Youtuber I think who did it because I remember watching the Boston United one he did.
When I play FM, I can build Football League teams and Non-League teams who don't have much money. Best one I did was taking Stockport County from the National League North to the Championship in 7 years until the save corrupted itself that was on Football Manager 2018.
On Football Manager 2013 I managed to get Chesterfield into the Premier League from League 1 and also into the Champions League.
