Connor Wickham and Hiram Boateng are among six players set to leave MK Dons.

Former Crystal Palace striker Wickham, 29, and midfielder Boateng, 26, are being released at the end of their contracts along with Aden Baldwin, Jay Bird, John Freeman and Brandon Mason.

Josh McEachran and David Kasumu, whose contracts also expire this summer, have been offered new deals.

The League One club have taken up options to extend the contracts of Daniel Harvie and Tennai Watson.

Wickham was signed on a short-term deal in January after being released by Preston.

He started just two league matches for the Dons, who were beaten by Wycombe in the play-off semi-finals.

Boateng made 37 appearances this season and 66 in total since being signed in 2019.

MK Dons have signed Norwich striker Matt Dennis for an undisclosed fee.

The 20-year-old scored eight goals in 29 games on loan at Southend United in the National League last season.

The former Arsenal youth player will officially make the move when the transfer window opens on 10 June.

"I've spoken to the manager and he told me this is an opportunity for me. I'll be looking to learn as much as I can from him and the other players here," Dennis said.

"I am a fast, powerful forward who likes to get in behind, create chances and hopefully score some goals."

Dons finished third in League One last season, missing out on an automatic promotion place on the final day of the campaign, before losing to Wycombe Wanderers in the play-offs.

Midfielder Ethan Robson has rejoined MK Dons on a free transfer from Blackpool.

The 25-year-old will move to the League One side when his deal with the Seasiders expires at the end of June.

Robson featured 23 times on loan at MK Dons last season before returning to Blackpool in January to see out the campaign at Bloomfield Road.

"Everybody knew how much I wanted to return in January but I'm back now and delighted to kick on," he said.

"I really enjoyed my time here. The manager, the staff and the players are great and something really special has been created here."

MK Dons midfielder Josh McEachran has agreed a new contract with the club.

The 29-year-old former Chelsea and Brentford player made 43 appearances last season to help the Dons reach the League One play-offs.

But he missed the home leg of their semi-final after being sent off in the first game at Wycombe.

"Josh made a huge impact last season, playing a number of games and taking on a lot of responsibility in the middle of the park," said boss Liam Manning.

"In a young squad, Josh's experience is vital and he will have a role to play moving forwards in terms of leadership and support for the younger players.

"I am sure he will embrace that but, most importantly, continue to put the performances in, himself, on the pitch."

McEachran's previous deal was set to expire this summer and the club have not disclosed the length of his new contract.

"We are all just looking to build on the positives of last season," McEachran said.

"Unfortunately we just missed out but we've still got a young and talented squad and the experiences we've been through will only help us out moving forwards."

MK Dons have signed West Ham winger Nathan Holland on a free transfer.

The 24-year-old will complete his move to Stadium MK on 1 July when his deal with the Premier League club expires.

Holland made four appearances for the Hammers but spent last season on loan at League One rivals Oxford United, scoring six goals in 39 appearances.

"He's a really exciting addition, moves really nicely with the ball, can go left, can go right," head coach Liam Manning told BBC Three Counties Radio.

"I think there's a lot more to come from him, and with the staff here, I think we can take his game to the next level."

Holland previously played under Manning for West Ham's under-23 team, having joined them from Everton's academy in 2017.

Manning added: "He's shown what he can do in League One in glimpses and that's the challenge for me, can we get him to perform, consistently, week in, week out and hit some real high numbers in terms of goal contributions."

The length of Holland's deal has not been disclosed by the club.

Holland is the club's fourth signing since losing to Wycombe in last season's play-off semi-finals, following Matt Dennis, Ethan Robson and Jack Tucker.

"He has a number of qualities, technically and physically, which we have seen from watching him regularly," said head coach Liam Manning.

"He has shown good potential so far and it is now down to him, with the support of the staff, to unlock that promise and produce high-quality moments on a consistent basis."

Milton Keynes Dons have made their sixth summer signing by recruiting teenage winger Darragh Burns from Irish Premier Division side St Patrick's Athletic for an undisclosed fee.

County Meath-born Burns, 19, has signed an undisclosed-length contract.

"Darragh is a player we have watched for some time," said head coach Liam Manning, "including on our visit to Ireland for pre-season."

Dublin-based St Patrick's currently lie fourth in the Irish top flight.

The Irish Premier Division is mid-season - and Burns has scored four goals, with three assists, in 23 games to help St Patrick's sit fourth in the table.

But Manning warned: "This will be a big transition for him, moving to a new country and a new league, so it will likely take some time to settle."

Burns is now eligible to play for the Republic of Ireland, having also represented Northern Ireland at youth level.

"The gaffer has asked me to come in, be myself and not change anything," said Burns. "I'll be looking to get the ball at my feet and go at defenders - and hopefully get some goals and assists."

Dons are scheduled to start the new League One season at Cambridge on 30 July.

Goalkeeper Jamie Cumming has agreed a deal to return to MK Dons for a second loan spell from Chelsea.

He kept 10 clean sheets in 23 appearances while on loan with the Dons last season and will spend the upcoming campaign with the League One club.

The 22-year-old joined Chelsea at the age of eight but is yet to make a senior first-team appearance.

"I am buzzing to be back. I'm glad it's done and I am looking forward to getting going again," said Cumming.

"I am very ambitious and I want to play at the highest level but the timing is right in my career for me to come back here, keep playing games and keep developing as a player and a person."

MK Dons have signed teenage forward Louie Barry from Aston Villa.

The 19-year-old England youth international spent last season on loan at Ipswich and then Swindon Town where he appeared in 16 games and scored six goals including one on his debut.

"He has some excellent attributes which will compliment our team," manager Liam Manning told the club website.

"His job now is to work alongside the coaches to produce high-quality moments consistently."

Barry began his career with West Bromwich Albion's academy at the age of six before joining Barcelona's academy in 2019 and Villa a year later.

MK Dons get their new League One campaign under way against Cambridge United on 30 July.

MK Dons have signed Republic of Ireland Under-21 midfielder Dawson Devoy from Irish club Bohemians for an undisclosed fee.

The 20-year-old joins the League One Dons on a "long-term contract" and is the club's ninth new signing ahead of the new season.

"Dawson is someone we have tracked for a while," Dons head coach Liam Manning told the club's official website.

"We should have a degree of patience as Dawson settles and adjusts."

Devoy has scored 11 goals and chipped in with eight assists in 67 appearances for Bohemians in the last two years and is currently Irish young player of the year.

"I enjoyed my time at Bohs but if I want to take my career to the next level, this is the right move for me," Devoy said.

"Everyone I spoke to about here said how it's a really good, family club and I have seen that myself already."
