Hibs v St Johnstone, Sun 15 May, KO 12 noon
#1
Well lets see what Hibs have to offer in the last game of a very disappointing football season. St Johnstone managed to avoid automatic relegation and looking like they have picked up a bit of positive form, beating the Dons who appear to be in the same malaise as Hibs!! HFC currently going in the other direction but one of our strikers finally scored a goal that made no difference in a match we lost to a relegated side!!! Thumb down I'd like to see Hibs win a game on their own ground because at the moment that is gradually becoming a pipedream and an absolute disgrace. A pitch that all our players must be accustomed to and yet the gradual historical record of winning matches on this pitch is unimpressive. Hibs still trying to sell match tickets for this game and acting as though nothing is wrong within the confines of the club. I'm convinced we won't win this match. I just hope I'm proved wrong and they actually win a match and deserve to win it.

I share your pessimism and I'm an optimist! I think we're all pleased just to see the season finish.
Cabbage is still good for you

Ooops!!! I briefly looked at the Hibs website and thought it was the traditional 3.00pm KO time esp with Saint Johnstone involved in Scot Prem play-off final matches next week - surprising it's on a Sunday TBH. Duly changed! Thumb up

FT 4-0 and a big surprise for me and many other Hibs fans at ER Stadium this afternoon!! A "hat trick" for James Scott!! Never saw that positive striking coming although great to see Paul McGinn scoring the all-important first goal just before HT. Second half, Hibs really looking like they were enjoying a game of footie for a change and good to see some of our successful youngsters from Hibs U18 team being handed debuts by SDG - better late than never David, IMO should've done a while ago!! Anyway, congrats to Jacob Blaney, Murray Aiken, Robbie Hamilton, Oscar MacIntyre and Allan Delferriere - you've earned that great feeling of playing in your first match for HFC first team, hopefully one of many more games in the future.
