I thought that was much better tonight. Let down by lacking that wee bit extra quality in the last quarter. Although i thought Mitchell and Henderson did well when they came on.
If SM can get us playing with that energy and directness consistently i think we will do well. We rode our luck with the PK shouts though, although was our goal really offside? Will need to see the highlights the morn.
That wee prick Devlin really bugs me, he's going to get a doing one day.

A match full of energy, lacking real quality plus a huge lack of striking ability. Hendo will have nightmares re giving that Hertz lad any chance of a goal line clearance to win the match in the dying mins. Should've swept such a wonderful goal opp into the far corner of an empty Hertz net. A huge miss to win this match! I'd like to know how Nisbet is still getting a starting slot - one of the most annoying Hibs players who continues to really irritate re the way he goes about his business. Gotta give a special mention to Dabrowski who had a great match and clearly well up for this derby match. Gordon normally getting the credits, NOT THIS TIME! Dabrowski has been at Hibs for years from a young lad to now and boyyyy, did he enjoy being brought in to this big match at the last min - clearly loved the challenge and excelled!!

As you rightly say, game full of blood and snotters without much real quality on show. However, 2 stonewall penalties for Hearts imho denied by a somewhat total tit of a referee as I’m sure you’ll agree. No plaudits for Gordon and quite rightly so as he never had a save to make and bailed out by Sibbick near the end , great stop but equally a terrible miss. Dabrowski rightly Hibs MOM as he did really well and Macey would have no qualms if he now has to sit on the bench for a wee while. First shot on target for Hibs in 85 th minute or thereabouts must be a worry as clearly not creating many chances. No change to league positions following this game and onwards to the weekend matches.
PS- I hope Devlin doesn’t bump into hibeejim21 anytime soon??
