Do we need to get an experienced keeper on loan as back up?

The defence looked quite happy against Burnalee when the young kid came on. Schoffer will be back by mid-late Feb so I'd say not unless Nicholls gets a long term injury.

Sat back too much 2nd half again. LOB did well to pick out Hamers face from that distance.

Well what a game of two halves that was. We bossed the first and they did the second.

The two goalkeepers made some outstanding saves and we could have been 4 or 5 up by half time. Old butterfingers Ben has certainly improved since he left us, but his footwork is still extremely dodgy, which his former team mates obviously knew and pressured him every time he had the ball.

Lewis O'Brien was particularly unlucky, I think he had 4 saved by Hamer.

There was a lot of negativity about the performance on the radio afterwards. Some silly remarks about Swansea being rubbish and we should be beating these teams. Shite comments like we get from so called big clubs in the Championship. Who the hell do we think we are? Swansea played some excellent stuff in the second half. Their passing was better than ours, but it looked like they were going nowhere with it and the off form Scotty Highlands gave them their best chances.  Rolleyes

When the goal came, it looked inevitable, but we could've gone on to win it as they suddenly went into retreat.

Overall, a very entertaining match, in a fantastic atmosphere. It was a similar performance to the Coventry game, but the atmosphere couldn't have been any more different. Coventry was very flat. No noise and they were right to sing about our support being "rather poor". Whistle

Today was much different, with a full house and the Terrier Spirit back. Good old Deano has done it again. Good old Deano. Big Grin

O'Brien should be bagging that one, he put it at a saveable height, should Thomas have hit the cross harder with the aim of picking koroma out?

I thought we were woeful second half, we only played 20/25 minutes and then changed game plan to let them have everything. Carlos' half time sub was wrong in my opinion, putting pipa or Rhodes on would have made more sense. It was also highs worst game, at times he does look every bit as young as he is, we could probably do with him having a good loan away for the second half of the season like reg and crich and use Russell or get another loanee in. We looked better in the last 5 minutes when Rhodes came on, and like cc said, he should have made that change sooner, but all being said, we were camping on the edge of our area with no out all, it would have just come straight back.

Did anyone read Dean Hoyles comments? Not sure how I take them, he made a rod for his own back with comments hes made before, like the sleep walking comment and the comment on the podcast last year. Some of the piece today seemed like he has a bit of a saviour complex and wants his saving exploits to be announced to the world. Just dont mention some of the things he's done to drag us back down!

Negative subs from a negative coach cost us that game, lucky to come away with a point at the end.
