Darn it - family Christening organised near Cas at 11:00 on the day of the Chefs match. I was thinking I might be able to sneak away in time for the 3pm kick-off. Now hoping the local WMC has Sky and the Vicar of Methley shuts up at least 15 minutes before kick-off. I won't hold my breath but likely will be holding a cold beer at some point in the afternoon.

(Religion? Pah. Another excuse to pick a needless fight with your neighbours in my opinion while waiting for the political knobs or the local Army General to find a reason to start one.)

Them as can't be socially distanced enough of a Sunday 'appen. Thought Saturday was their day off too to be honest, judging by the number of Catolite priests that used to be at Old Trafford of a Saturday afternoon. Back in the day when they played on Saturday.

This it seems is a proddy chuch with a lady vicar. Nowt in the church website calendar other than Sunday services. I need to have a word about keeping themselves up to date remotely for a reasonable fee and a few glasses of wine. Maybe repayable against what I call the ref and the lino when they disallow a Town goal or give a foul agin us that never was. Big Grin

Apparently Snoots, she likes doing Saturday baptisms, though a Covid backlog might help a tad with the overtime Whistle

Barnsley in t' Cup confirmed for Sat 5th at 3pm.

Tickets £10
Concessions £5

Now we'll have to see if I get my cheap over 60s ticket. Not been able to get one yet. I bet the buggers put it up to 65. Rolleyes

Well. We've 3 on t'trot at home coming up and two as I've already paid for I won't get to.

Yes it's my choice but given a severely reduced (thanks to the useless prick in Downing Street) income it's my choice.

The turd is the Barnsalee game that I'll have to pay for anyway but my choice to attend.

Hope all those £5 happy clappers that turned up on Saturday will turn up for the next two full priced games too as I can't afford to make them.
Not holding my breath on that one. Now, where's me Covid Test kits?
