How are you gonna explain that one? Laugh

Chalk me off the points for Viv Anderson Snoots, I cheated there, but I didn't google the other two. Just your thread and a glass of rioja. C'mon Kes, k,k,k,k.

Ooo's up next? Ooh it's me. Early kick off too - better get a shift on.

As for the game, I didn't go, just saw the highlights, seems like turton got too narrow and lost his man.

Seen on datm a lot of fans wanting rid of Carlos, and tbh I think I've got a foot in either camp really, I don't really have the enthusiasm for town games atm, I feel Carlos doesn't have the rapport with the fans and doesn't seem interested in doing so on a match day. I suppose he feels his job is with the players not the fans and to an extent he's right. I think really it's just a case of fans not taking to him, I think the aforementioned rapport doesn't help but neither does the language barrier, it leads to a switch off.

As for the football, maybe this is where the switch off is occurring, I missed going to games during lockdown, now I'm not too fussed and I feel the standard and quality of football doesn't help. In terms of the football, I think we are really hamstrung as we are not really set up for any real style of play. Our midfielder and defence aren't exactly suited to playing out from the back, possibly colwill and O'Brien in a way, but the others are suited to a direct/long ball game, only problem is that ward, Rhodes and Campbell aren't, they're more suited to it being on the deck, maybe not a pure passing game, but a ball on deck style.

That's the problem Carlos has and Im not sure he is able or willing to solve it because it means changing his ways and he's too stubborn

You're not on your own. I've not been to one away game this season and I've even missed a couple of home games, I sometimes sit in the stadium thinking what time can I leave although that is probably more to do with my depression.

Aaron Rowe is back playing with the B team today. And another run out for Rhodes and the elusive Danny Grant.

1) Cold and Wet
2) Full of dickheads who can’t handle a beer
3) Shit performance

These days it's not just beer they can't handle tbh Wakey. I've no intention of ever trying the waccy-baccy, potions and powders that far too many knobheads buy for whatever price these days, but it's likely not far off the price of a pint, and it leads to similar or worse behaviour from what I've seen. I've been travelling to home games over (or under/around) The Ainleys on public transport this season from my twice monthly weekend camp at my bro's and it's eye opening what (mostly young) folk talk about that they are sniffing, smoking and injecting that you'd never hear in the comfort of your own vehicle.

Hope you're getting help with the depression but given the waiting lists that this government thinks are somehow OK, mental illness is way down their list. Strange given the nutjob they appointed as their leader.
