Is Val's fitness regime having a direct impact on our injuries or is it bad luck or coincidences?

Talking of injuries, I think I saw the other day that Jack Wilshere is still looking for a club. Honestly could do worse, on the right deal He may be desperate enough.

He wasted a great talent. No idea why. Great player, but is he alright in the head?

Always really liked him as a player, but the fact that nobody has taken him on seems to say it all, unfortunately.
Can't see his style suiting that of our new HC either (also, to my mind, -'unfortunately')..... Cry

I see Andy Carroll has just joined Reading on a short term deal. I know he had big injury problems but, again, I liked him as a player - was much more than a 'big lump' IMO, and HE would've done a job for us with our present set up in mind, I'm sure

I had been excited at the start of the season. Championship 'Proper' football, a positive manager and good results.

But as the season has unfolded I am becoming less cheerful. Despite being in 3rd place I am getting tired of the West Brom style and especially the inflexibility, unwillingness to do something different when, as is increasingly the case, the opposition cancel out our one and only style of play.

Then the darkness of the Transfer Window creeps closer like a death cloud - I want to be proven wrong but I suspect we will lose Johnstone and gain diddly squat and then it will be a lumber-some crawl to the end of season and at best a outside chance of a play-off spot.

(It's been a bad day and everything is Black, Black Black Black)

Conor Townsend today put pen to paper on a contract extension until 2025 . Great news excellent left back and a decent cover at centre half

Good news (at last)
He deserves a good wage and contract. If anyone earned it he has.
