Well if Saturday wasn't much to write home about, watching paint dry comes to mind tonight but that isn't all Town's fault. Brum clearly came not to lose, and clearly came not to play to be honest. They succeeded on both fronts. We'll play worse teams this season and get wins, we'll play better teams and get points sometimes and no points other times.
If they continue to play like that then they will stay down there with Posh, Barnsalee and Hull and maybe Cardiff but I think Cardiff will move up the league. Unless Direby get another 9 point deduction, which is likely, Direby could finish above them. At least they didn't kick everyone that moved off the pitch (unlike Hull) but that wasn't even close to how they played v WBA last Friday.
Campbell hit the paint too hard twice and it came out, other days one would have gone in. Sh!t happens. Bornmuff next. Let's make them think shall we?

I'm not sure sitting back for 90 mins at Bornmuff would result in a clean sheet. Hell, even Phil Bill has suddenly become prolific down there this season. That said we frustrated The Chefs for abut 75-80 mins before nicking the win there. The Chefs weren't and aren't quite in Bornmuff's class so far however.

Last 6 games at home v Brum have been drawn.
Previous 5 were all 1-1.
Apart from Cup win in 2008, we haven't beat them at home since 1996.

I know Snoots, said so in my prematch email to my nephew darn unda. At the risk of stealing some of your thunder for Saturday's thread, Bournemouth have drawn with Peterborough (A) - most recent, Blackpool (H), and Hull (A) so no reason we can't go there looking for something.

My boss, the Barnsley fan, said yesterday before I left work that they were boring to watch, with their only tactics being Mark Roberts long throws and stopping the opposition from playing.
He wasn't far off the truth.

Birmingham City boss Lee Bowyer told BBC Radio WM:
"I have never had a team go so long without scoring. My teams always score. I feel for them but there are positives to take. It would have been easy for them to hide.
"Do you want to lose 2, 3, 4-0 every week? This is the way we stayed in the division last season. It is not as pretty as I would like it to be. Something had to change so that's what I have done."

Well whatever it is he thinks he's changed, it's pretty obvious scoring goals isn't one of them.
They won 5 of the 10 games he was in charge of last season, they've won 3 out of 13 this season. This is what kept them up? Hmmm.
