LAST MATCH

Well in true Wednesday fashion we threw away more points after getting into a 2 goal lead. We started the better and took the lead when Bannan found Gregory and finished well. We had other chances but there keeper was denying us. Onto the 2nd half and we continued to have chances and took a 0-2 lead when Wing was pushed in the box and Gregory fired home the penalty. We seemed to be in control but our fragile defense let us down. Walker pulled one back with a decent strike but the initial shot should have been dealt with better by Wildsmith. We missed a couple more chances then Wimbledon completed there comeback when Rudoni finished from close range via from a cross. 7 points thrown away so far and counting  Doh  Doh  Doh

THE MATCH

Next up and a trip to Cambridge. They haven't made the best start to the season and languish in 18th place. I expect them to stay near the bottom for the rest of the season. Don't know much about there current squad, but Dion Dublin used to play for them before he became a "star". We haven't played them in the league for 37 years but they have beaten us 3 times in the cup competitions. One last thing, they haven't won for 4 games  Doh  Doh  Doh  Doh

Ddddd
Cambridge played a 4-2-3-1 against Ipswich on Saturday .
All 4 goals came on the left side of the field meaning they are good at attacking on this side but can't defend .
Hence give shodiplop a chance to attack this and back him with Hunt would be a better game plan than putting a carthorse on this side.
We really should be looking at 9pts from the next 3 games to get us back in the thick of things but we know this won't happen .

Go for the throat, our defence will always concede so never, ever shut up shop.

Too difficult for Moore though

2-1 Gregory

Meet the cheat : Scott Oldham was the fourth cheat in our win at Wigan ...means nothing in this league nobody can afford a tele let alone communication devices that have a range larger than a 20m wireless doorbell. I'm sure he made a good cup of tea for the rest of the cheats at Ht though ffs.

To what stateside mentioned and i think we've got one off the best defences we've had for sometime should we have a flucking manager and coaching capable of sorting a defence out ? The problem like usual is we've no captain and a piss poor midfield ......
Hunt , Hutch , Iorfa , Brown, Johnson, Dunkley and even Palmer are more than capable at this shit level ...if only we had a system that suited them ...this flucking idiot of a manager wants to play out from the back being the problem ..if he changed his tactics to the players he has we would reap the rewards ! Difference Ryan Lowe plays with dogshit players but plays them to the best of there abilities with his tactics .
It's not rocket science it's football !

Stat brain fart ...we are the bogey team of Cambridge flucking puffs!
We went unbeaten against them 8 wins one draw through the 80s .
We beat them on the way to the league and cup double in the year of our lord John Sheridan .... strangely in that same year they battered us in the Facup 4-0 ...for the life of me i only remember to good times in 91 though ! ...then we last beat them (waddle taking the piss and Bright was on fire ) with that wanker Francis in the cup on our way to historical tumble in 93 ...we've played 3 games since the 90s managing to lose all 3 in Bobar poo cup games .

Is there any news on Windass returning? I think he will make a huge difference with the way we play out of the back becasue he is always on the move. Paterson is the same and I think thats why he gets into the team. You could see against Bolton both Bannan and Hutch yelling at the forwards to move and make runs. I would still play Gregory alongside Windass but we need him back.
