What a great game. Glad I stayed warm at home though. Big Grin

Baffled by the number of subs used. They were saying one of Blackburn's was a concussion sub, but then we went and used 4 as well.

Think if they have a concussion sub we're allowed another too.

Yes. Just explained the rule on Radio Local.

All of which allowed Josh Ruffels to become our 1,000th first team player.

Well I didn't see that coming.

Set off on the front foot, Dany Ward should have at least tested the keeper with his header and then in the next attack Sinani lost all composure and blazes over when all he had to do was guide the ball goalwards.

Nice finish by Vallejo to put us in front just as Blackburn were growing into the game, although pretty much immediately we tried to gift them an equaliser.

Blackburn's equaliser shows what you can do when you run at defences, LOB tried to tackle him, some may say even foul him but couldn't get near him as he skipped passed what seemed like half our team before a neat lay off to Diaz who finished with ease. I was impressed with Diaz, if he carries on like this then Blackburn will struggle to hold onto him.

Step forward the Danny Ward show, 2 headers...what odds would Billy Hill have given you for that. Maybe we should give him a South American surname like Ben Bereton...Danny Warnaldo or Dany Warldinho??

Nothing more than Town deserved despite the ref doing his level best for Blackburn. Holding play up in the first half for the sub to warm up before entering the pitch, he did the same again for them in the second half and then had the cheek to book our keeper for wasting 5 seconds in added time.

4 subs as well, thought we were only allowed 3 in the EFL, i know they talked about concussion subs but I didn't think it had come in yet.

Oh and Sorba Thomas, called up for Wales. At the rate he's going he'll be the captain of Wales by November Big Grin

Loved that game last night.
Breath of fresh air to see us attacking with intent and looking dangerous on loads of occasions.
Thought that 1st Danny Ward goal was superb. Back to front and in the net in a matter of 20 seconds or so.
That Diaz guy was their only real threat...he looked really good. He's on a free come January. You know what to do Phil - HIP time (hand in pocket).
Best I've seen us play for quite some time.
