Last day of the window should be interesting

Before Scunny possibly destroy the current feelgood factor, I just wanted to say at other times I'd have been almost paranoid at the prospect of our best players going. This season somehow I only want to see what happens next. Can't say I ever remember much bigger clubs being seriously interested in four of our players at the same time. Even Ernie didn't score his goals at the rate Doyle's going ...... I even look at game stats and find us in the high teens of efforts on goal. I'm sure we're due another bad run, but I'm enjoying the good one and you know I'm even wondering who might come in to replace whoever we sell. I think I may be sickening for something.

Oh yea of little faith. We were nailed on to win last night. Wouldn't be surprised if we get 1 or 3 points this weekend. We will need Doyle for next year when we play in the championship. He will be worth £4mill by then after scoring a hat trick against Derby.

Doyle needs to stay and like Chris Turner and Paul Cook say we don't need to sell. Also we shouldn't be bullied by bigger clubs trying to buy players on the cheap. A point against Swindon would be great but 3 points would be fantastic.

I really thought our run had to end with Scunny. And some of the things Cookie does amaze me, like not using all three subs last night .... and saving using them so late ...... but what can you say?

Whilst I think it's true we don't need to be bullied into selling at low prices, we have to be a selling club at the moment -but of course we can re-build at the same time. We're doing it so well .......

Honestly I can't see why no-one is coming in for Raglan. He's made the jump from several tiers down the pyramid, he's had to play with several different centre back partners and he's hardly put a foot wrong. If he were to keep doing this to the end of the season he'd be worth quite a sum, so why aren't the poachers out with their nets right now? Do they only want forwards and midfielders?

Plenty of scouts at the Proact on Tues. Raglan was solid but didn't pull up any trees. Clucas on the other hand will open a few cheque books in the close season.

I'm glad he's not being flash Dancing. (I never thought I could get Flashdancing into a sentence about football.)

I hope no one picks him up. It's just that as almost any competent young defender seems to get hyped and fast-tracked into the England team, you'd kind of expect a Championship team to look down a grade and wonder if "solid" might just step up another tier for a price you can afford (by Cyril Lord).

Solid now and better still after a second pro' close-season. Raglan would appeal to me. But as you say so would Clucas, versatile from defence to scoring goals. Now if only he could keep goal too, he'd be a bit of a find.

Reading really want Clucas but the thing is if he was bought by Reading this transfer window he wouldn't be allowed to play for them because the rule is you can't play for 3 clubs in a season. So they would have to buy him and loan him back to us for the rest of the season.

Rotherham and MK Dons are chasing Charlie Raglan.

Apparently North End had Doyle bid turned down
Why should a man go to work, if he has the health and strength to stay in bed?
