We lost this game in the first minute with some very poor defending!! Put us on the back foot immediately and meant we had to score two goals to win, which we and the players know doesn't happen often!! The defence was always going to have a shaky spell at some point but our lack of goals magnifies it when they do!! SG is just not flexible enough when things do not go our way and the subs had no impact when he finally brought them on!!
I thought we were maybe worth a draw in the end but we probably didn't deserve it!! Maybe the whole club needed this to remind us we are still only a mid-table team at the moment, but with a little push in the right direction we could be so much more!!! |
