So come on now Town player recruitment team. Your season starts now !!!!

First thing to do should be to recruit a new Head Coach. Carlos is clueless. The football we have played since the New Year has quite frankly, been pathetic. I have no confidence whatsoever with his ability to turn this around.

And there's only one man I want recruiting for the job. We have to bring back David Wagner.

We then need to get Schindler signed up and then get Hefele back in whatever role he fancies. He can take Bromby's job for me. I know he has no experience in the role, but neither did Bromby when he got the job. Whatever, Bromby must go.

And before anybody says that Wagner cocked up in his final season and jumped the sinking ship. I don't care.

Bring him home.

The season quiz, not just Town related- no cheating!!!

1) Which player scored the first league goal of the season? Fraizer Campbell for us

2) Who was the first player to see red? Naby Sarr

3) Who has the most own goals? (I'm picking the player with least appearances, as his own goal per min is better/worse) Don't know but I think we had 4 scored for us

4) Who is the youngest player to feature in a game this season and who for? (that is a nasty one) Brahima Diarra

5) And who is the oldest? Campbell

6) Who has the most yellow cards? Must be Hoggy

7) Which two players have linked up for the most goals this season? Toffolo and Koroma

8) Which team has the best possession stats for the season? Huddersfield

9) Which team has given foreign players the most minutes? Huddersfield

10) And finally, who has given the most minutes to domestic players? Wycombe

Yes, I know and the answer to that is, no idea.

I only ever pay attention to the other teams in the league if I'm doing the match thread for them. Rolleyes

The game was absolutely rubbish. Dreary first half. Then Coventry came at us in the second. Schofield kept us in it, then let one go straight through him.
Out of the blue, their keeper dropped the ball from a corner and Danny Ward fired home. Draw probably a fair result but the football on display is shocking.

Sarr and Keogh looked absolutely abysmal today. Keogh was so bad, he got subbed off for Eddy Green when we ought to have been bringing on another attacker.

If Carlos is still here next week, he needs to drop anybody who won't be here next season and get the likes of Diarra and Camara into the squad.

For what it is worth

who is your player of the season? Josh koroma
young player of the season? Koroma again
your moment of the season? Hopefully seeing Wednesday and derby go down
best player you've seen against Town this season? Easy to go with anyone at Norwich tbf but watmore at Boro ran the game and our defence ragged up at their spot
Town player you've got high hopes for? Diarra looks to be the bright spark, hoping to see more from crich, reg, austerfield, Rowe, camara and harratt over the next year or so
and where do Town go from here over the summer? Rip it up and start afresh, the money saved from letting those out of contract go can rebuild a decent squad. No player is gonna get the deal he's been used to, so some 'bargains' to be had.

According to datm 4 players have already signed

Also answers will be on after the social media blackout if there's any still to get.

New one's or existing one's signing new/extended contracts?

I have a nosey, and the odd post, on there every so often but mostly can't be bothered to go through the multiple threads on any one subject to spot the one or two posts where someone is saying something constructive and isn't biting someone else's head off.
