To be honest, I didn't read everything about the story because I always prefer to
judge players on the football side rather than what they do off the pitch.

But nobody wants to lose their licence for 12 months, especially when you're a
young lad with loads of money and flash cars, so I'm sure although the punishment
is 'light' it will definitely hurt him personally and make him learn his lesson.

Hopefully the taxi doesn't make him arrive any later because we can do without
our best players being dropped because of silly things, and he's definitely in the

He has been hit in the ego pocket by not being able to drive for 12 months and will have to attend a drink awareness course (the cash fine is meaningless and a disappointment, it should have had a zero on the end to have any reLly impact).

I don't like swearing at fans etc. these guys get paid a fortune and can be coached on how to not react to provacation etc.

But, a hell of a lot of people on this planet do not deserve respect at the way they behave. Regardless what I might be paid, I know I'd let my views be known if fans threw abuse at me.

So I take these things with a pinch of salt and sometime think 'good on him'. Just like Prescott lampung that bloke who had a go at him. I might dislike Prescott, but it was a cracking punch!
